Very sad to see the state of Josie's these days. 10-15 years ago there was not a single thing wrong with Josie's. Always great service, great atmosphere and the superior pizza place in Canton. That is no longer the case. Aside from having the best pizza in town, Josie's always had great wings. This has been the case for several years now, but now you're no longer able to get them there. It's always been a bit of a wait time to get pizza but that's never been an issue since you were given a time estimate when you called. After being told 45 minutes to an hour wait, I was told another 20 minutes after arriving just past an hour after ordering. This 20 minutes turned into over an hour, so between the time I ordered and received my pizza it was over 2 hours. We were told they were shorthanded, which is understandable, but you should have told us that when we ordered. I sympathize with businesses who have to deal with staff shortages, but if you don't give proper warning before hand it's easy to see why people are upset or annoyed. My guess is that most people would have not ordered if they knew it would take so long. Staffing shortages or not, it is unreasonable to have to wait 2 hours to receive a pizza when you can get it in 15 minutes at Pizza hut and 30-45 minutes at Sergi's.On top of this, they are still only accepting cash or check. This is something they've always done, and at least something they acknowledged while ordering. While not a very major issue, it's still a bit crazy to still not have the means to accept cards.Again, I realize that staffing issues played a role, but you need to tell people that while they are ordering. The pizza ended up being fine, but not worth a 2+ hour wait. It is very sad to see Josie's in its current state. After being a faithful patron for about 20 years, I don't really see a reason why I should ever go back. You can get as good or better pizza at the other places in town, and can get wings and expect a reasonable time frame to get your order. Maybe down the road I'll give it one more chance, but I think this might have been the last time I ordered from Josie's.

19.50 for a large single topping. No website. The only menu I could find online was from 2019 on their Facebook page, which has only had one post this entire year. No indication of price changes anywhere to be found, glad they at least told me the price before I came to pick it up. And cash or check only in 2023??? If the pizza itself was around $15 (or the $16.50 that’s listed) it wouldn’t be so bad but I did not taste $20 worth of flavor or atmosphere or service.

Ordered one large veggie pizza by phone on Saturday at 5 pm. Was told the food would be ready in one hour. That felt a little long, but went with it. Showed up an hour after placing the order and was told the pizza hadn't even gone in the oven yet and it would still be another 25 minutes. NOT OK, but we'd come this far, so I went to a bar down the street to kill time and watch a game. Returned to Josie's after the 25 minutes and the pizza is STILL. NOT. READY. Wait *another* 15 minutes. Finally get the pizza and am charged extra for a few packets of ranch! Comping those is the least the restaurant could have done. Get the pizza home and - wait for it - it's raw in the middle. Totally mushy and uncooked. Our family has gone to Josie's for years (literally, decades), but this was the last time. Do not waste your time or money.

Best pizza in Canton hands down, the issue is sometimes its hard to catch them when they're open, they don't stay up late. Top notch quality though! The dining room is tiny as well.

Always been one of our favorite places to get pizza. We still drive a distance to get it.

The pizza roll is delicious and not fried, baked right in the oven. And of course the pizza is great as well. Not many places do sheets of pizza like Josie. You'll pay $$ for sure but it is really good. Only missing a Ceasars sald and the wait time is at least 45 mins anytime you call.

I'm so disappointed I wouldn't even give them 1 star. We called asking about how far they deliver out. We gave the address but didn't know how to explain exactly how to get here. The girl on the phone was completely rude about looking up the address. Won't be eating there!

Pretty decent. But please for the love of god and all that is holy, take a second to learn how to put your hours into google, it's not as hard as you think

It may not be bad for the area, but In terms of good pizza, it is not.My wife actually said we probably could have had the pizza from 7-11 across the street and been the same quality. The cheese is ok, the pepperoni is standard, the sauce tastes like it's shipped in a vat. But it's the dough that leaves you wishing you are elsewhere. It's nearly tasteless and the texture is nothing to rave about either. It's very very dry.The place only does while pies, and was told it would be 30 minutes on what was certainly not a busy night. It's ok ... But I really have no idea why it has so many positive reviews. It makes me think no one has eaten good pizza that they can compare it to.

Small town pizza place. Pizza is as good today as it was 40 years ago when I was a kid. Reasonably priced, quality ingredients. The dining area is small with just a few booths.

This was my second time having Josies.I ordered the Jose Ole and my girlfriend the Margarita Pizza, I was told the pizza would take 45 minutes. Okay, no big deal. I show up to the restaurant 10 minutes early. From there I cashed out, paid for the pizza and was told it would be another 11 minutes. I sat and waited an extra twenty minutes for two small pizzas. When handed the pizza the lady dropped to quarters in my hand and said “We don’t have anymore refried beans, and the cashier charged you for them.” This left me very disappointed because the main reason I ordered the pizza was because of it having beans. I was never offered a replacement topping, they just decided to hand me a Jalapeño and Olive Pizza. Oh and two quarters, that way I could rub the two quarters together and maybe a magical bean would pop out my hands for the lacking pizza. The pizza actually wasn’t that bad tasting, it just felt lacking, and to pay 12 dollars for it, I felt robbed. The only reason why I give Josies two stars instead of one, is because they were pretty busy, so I could assume my two small pizzas weren’t top priority, and the staff was very kind under being overwhelmed on the Saturday evening.
