Consistently great experience at Izumi. We've been coming here at least once a year for the last eight years for my brother-in-law's bday and we are never disappointed. Our experience today seemed especially great! Steak and scallop hibachi is my go to, the scallops today were perfection. Drinks are always fantastic; always well balanced and tasty. $9 specialty cocktails at the bar everyday from 4pm-6pm. I think I've tried every drink at this point; they're all great. My husband ordered lobster today which truthfully I was skeptical would be overcooked, but it was fantastic! My MIL had a few sushi rolls which were fresh and delicious. Our chef today was fun but not over the top, as hibachi chefs sometimes can be. We were seated next to a family with two small children, and the chef was fantastic with them. 10/10 recommend!!

Izumi's Hibachi is so goooood! The Filet Mignon is filled with so much flavor and they cook it well! They made sure our reservation was kept and they sat all of us in a nice section. Our cook was fun and interactive. Their Blood Orange margaritas are so yummy and indubitably-charged!!! I liked my experience a lot. Every hibachi place has their own niche, and for me, this one was their atmosphere, the teriyaki sauce, and the undoubtedly-fresh sushi! ?It doesn't beat my ultimate favorite Hibachi place but it was nice to try something different!

Always enjoy our meal here. Great Service and fresh food. I personally like the spicy handrolls which I typically order. This was a small takeout order tonight to have a little fun. Japanese "Pop" sodas are another treat. Live the decor and food consistency. Definitely worth a trip to enjoy a cocktail and food.Parking: Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right outside and they have double doors.

As soon as we stepped in here it was bad… the host first asked: “what are you here for today? We said Hibachi… (we’re a party of 4, mom, dad, an 8 year old boy and and 11 year old girl) kids were really excited about hibachi and were starving. She then asked: “are you all eating Hibachi?” I said I will probably have sushi as well. She said that since one of us was eating sushi and not hibachi we couldn’t sit at the hibachi table and would have to sit at a regular table. I told her I didn’t say I was going to eat just sushi but want to have it with my hibachi. Host then proceeded to take us to a hibachi table, sat us at the very end corner with poor view of the show and told the cook I’m eating sushi so I can’t be in the middle which was empty… now we all getting frustrated including the kids.Looks like no one else came to fill the empty nice space of the table and cook asked us to move to there. We felt soooo mistreated that we couldn’t handle it, we got up and left! It was a complete joke. We were literally going to order sushi as appetizers because we love sushi and have hibachi for the experience for the kids! They completely ruined it for us and kids ended up very upset.First and last.

So I have been to this place about 5 times in two years. The quantity of food has definitely gotten smaller but still good.This last time I went, we all felt rushed to pay and leave.. I know it's a business, but you should make me want to come back & not say let's try a different place next time..

Ordered the chicken teriyaki, the miso soup and salad, they were good until I was served the chicken teriyaki itself.It was undercooked but they were good with returning it to the kitchen to cook it further more.It was nice nonetheless, slightly below average first impression, yet redeemable at the end.

used to love this place til they charged me and my gf and then claimed we didn't pay when we had receipts on our bank statement. then instead of calling the cops (which we were already doing) they held us hostage and blocked both exits so we couldn't leave and threatened to call the cops, we kept telling them to call them because we just wanted to go home! the food is absolutely amazing but with service like that i'll never walk in that place again, cops were even saying "we get ur billing system is having issues but u call us because u can't legally hold people locked in your restaurant". this use to be my favorite restaurant until this event. very disappointed
