It’s May 6th and the cookies I bought are ready to expire June 28th, since I bought them at a sandwich shop it’s likely they have been sitting on the shelf a while. They were ok, chips ahoy are better, in my opinion. Nothing special, maybe the fresher ones are better. It satisfied my desire for a cookie.
I moved away from NY 8 years ago. I remember these cookies from when I was in high school from 1977 to 1981. The butter crunch cookie was my favorite especially with chocolate milk. So I ordered a box of butter crunch and chocolate chip. I opened the butter crunch expecting to have that euphoric feeling that only the butter crunch can give. Well that was short lived. I ordered and received my order within 1 business day. Ordered on a Saturday and received on a Tuesday. UPS delivered and the cookies were in good shape. The cookies were very good just like I remembered them. Thank you all.
