Always a warm welcoming atmosphere, food is delicious, particularly thankful that I can order a burger the way I want it and it's perfect. Live music is a huge plus. Definitely recommend.

$17 for a salad that was basically all arugula, three pieces of beets, a tablespoon of goat cheese and two grapes sliced up. Burgers are small for the money.
So, you all need to read and absorb. This is an amazing place to enjoy an afternoon out with friends & family with regard to service, food and atmosphere. First, Pam is the best person that I have every had the pleasure of working with. My wife and I will hard pressed to say any server was ever better...But the food... People, you need to understand that this particular restaurant does it right to the nth degree. There was not an aspect of our appetizer, main or dessert that was lacking. And, after speaking with the owner, Nick, for just a few minutes, all my assumptions were confirmed. So just stop your search when looking for a local establishment that does it right. Rick's has reset the bar with all aspects of service, bill of fare and ambiance. And to the chef, who I only know by age and origin, your pamadoro is so good my grandmother would have been impressed! Although I will be happy to take the sorbet challenge with you when you want...perhaps a fundraiser?Oh and by all means, check out the cheesecake of the day. Ours was margarita and it was superb

Great local pub but with nice sitdown options...good crew behind the bar
I live in close proximity to this restaurant. I was walking in Congers Lake and had to use the restroom on a Sunday. No customers were around yet. I went in and asked if I may use their restroom. Owner said yes at first but started talking to me in a very mean way and even screaming as I was going towards the restroom. So, I asked him why he’s screaming at me and informed him that I’ve dined here a lot so I’m also one of their customers. He told me he’s never seen me before. I said since I was wearing a bucket hat and sunglasses that he can’t recognize me but he rudely insisted he’s never seen me. Meanwhile, I recognize him since my family participated in one of his Trivia Nights and our table won a gift card to dine here again. I clearly remember him since he had a big mouth while hosting. So, I ended up not using the restroom and told him I changed my mind, which made him even ruder. Screaming still and with so much anger telling me I’m trespassing and to get out of his place. As I was walking out he walked towards the direction I was going (outwards) and came to me and grabbed my arm trying to push me out of the door. He even went close to my face and was talking above me. So, I said I’ll call the cops. He said go ahead because you’re trespassing. While I was talking to the Operator he rudely asked me to give him my phone so he could talk to them. I told him I will not let him touch my phone. I even asked the Operator if he hears the screaming.I eventually went outside the restaurant and two cops responded. While I was speaking with the 1st Police Officer who responded, the Owner told me to get off his property. He was also rude to the Police Officer, who had no choice but to back up along my side. So, while I was doing my report… another Officer also arrived and they told him to stay away from my proximity because he was trying to come closer and interrupt my report and he was even very rude to the Police Officers (who by the way are also customers like me who live in the area). Then, at some point while working on my report, he said he was leaving. The Officers told him not to leave and to stay in the restaurant and wait for them in there.Overall, I do not recommend supporting this place. It did look like he was having a bad day but doesn’t mean he can touch and grab a person’s arm and shove them out and say you’re trespassing - hmmm… a customer trespassing ? or even rudely interrupt my 911 call by telling me to give him my phone so he can talk to the Operator? Make your own 911 report, if you want but you can’t take or touch my phone. Even rudely interrupting my report… where are your manners??.. tsk tsk.. It also doesn’t mean you can talk over me so close and right in front of my face while being rude and screaming.Your restaurant is not located in NYC but in Rockland County. People who live in your area are customers. It’s a very friendly area. I’ve been going to Rick’s since 1994. It’s changed so much since the switch in ownership. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE until they learn customer relations and good manners. If you don’t want anyone using your restroom then you should put a tacky sign but I doubt you will since no one will support your restaurant if you start doing that. Again, this is Rockland County and not Manhattan. A little KINDNESS goes a long way here and so does RESPECT. That is how you earn new and repeat customers in Rockland.

Never disappoints. So happy they started a new Sunday brunch. It's not just the usual every brunch spots menu. Creativity rules here. All very yummy. Great atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
