My husband and I were looking for some good Italian food and a casual, welcoming environment. We took a chance on this restaurant and it was very good. The food was delicious and the portions generous..we took most of it home with us. It was very busy, but we didn't feel ignored and we even told the server not to worry-we had no where to go and were enjoying just chatting and nibbling on the delicious food. Delicious fresh bread, homemade pasta..it was an enjoyable dinner.
The chill of a cool night was quickly dispelled by warm hospitality. Ordered a cold antipasto and mozzarella caprese. It came along with a large loaf of hot delicious Italian Bread. Both appetizers were large and fresh. House salad followed and was likewise crisp and tasty. Entrees were substantial. Two of us defaulted to good old lasagna and were not disappointed. Excellent food, friendly service and a beautiful setting. This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, but go to the back for their patio dining and you’ll think you are in Northern Italy. Not usually a big fan of Vodka sauce - but their sauce is amazing. Reasonably priced and a full bar. Definitely worth a try if you are in Rockland County.
