Despite the numerous signage indicating the contrary, this place has been closed for good for months. It's now a storage area for the store above it.

Is the food worth the price ?? Absolutely it's okay...sub par surprised that it's not better especially for Cooperstown and when baseball comes the service isn't that great either...

A good place for a quick cheap bite! The food was ok. The service was great.

I was looking for a cheap place to eat near the HOF and this definitely hit the spot. Due to the current pandemic, they now have 5 or 6 tables on the sidewalk with awnings above them to provide shade. I ordered two hot dogs (with sauerkraut), fries, and a fountain soda. The total bill was $10.50 including tax, which really can't be beat. My food was delivered within 10 minutes, which was reasonable to me. The fries were really good. The hot dogs were good too but the buns were soggy from the sauerkraut, which was probably unavoidable. In the photo, everything has a reddish tint. That's because I was sitting under a red awning in a bright sun, so please ignore the red tint.

Nice to have a simple option -- and a fun choice when visiting the HOF. Nathan's dogs and good fries. They have several tables on the sidewalk and outdoor ordering, so you don't have to go to the lower level, tight restaurant during Covid. Could also take to go and eat a few blocks down at the lakefront.

Everyone has a bad day to those other recent 1star reviews. Today first time here while visiting the HOF, our dogs were hot and fries crispy, seasoned, and also hot. $7 for a dog, coke, and fries. Pretty good lunch break from the HOF.

Good hot dog place right in Cooperstown. Yummy onion rings and fries. Local craft beers. Don't expect fine dining, it's a hot dog joint. And great for what it is!

Avoid this place! The microwaved our chicken sandwich and messed up order. Poor quality food. Many other better choices in town!

First it was a busy Saturday in July and they had no hot dogs ready. They also tasted like they were boiled in water and quickly put on the grill. They advertised that they were Nathans hot dogs but we eat at the Coney island Nathans and they did not taste the same. They were also very pricey for a fast food place.

We were at the HOF museum and we wanted something to eat. As we walked down the street not far from the museum I spotted this place. It is downstairs off a side street. Not a fancy place, but good eats at a reasonable price. Nathan 's and foot long hot dogs. Many other items available. Order at the counter, find a table and wait for your order to be called.

I would have entitled this review great for a quick bite but considering it took over 10 minutes to get a hot dog and fries I can't say that. But I think it's worth a review because the staff is friendly and personable, the food was tasty and the prices are reasonable. Not easy to find that in the middle of the summer in a vacation destination town considering the transiency of the help. You might be a little put off by the musty smell if you sit near the foundation walls towards the back. Because it's a basement location, the odor from the dampness is prevalent. So not a good spot if you have allergies to mildew and I do not believe there is handicap accessibility. Is it worth having someone in your family go down and get you a few hot dogs or whatever else is on the menu so you could then eat it across the street at Pioneer Park? Absolutely! In fact, if the weather is nice that's exactly what I would do but if you can tolerate the mildewy odor or simply sit away from the foundation walls. it's a great spot on a hot day because of the cool temperature inside being that it's a basement. The kids behind the counter were courteous and pleasant. I'd probably go down there again on a rainy day and bring a good book or just watch the TV that they have well I try out some other things on the menu. They also serve beer in a bottle and have one or two arcade machines. I'd say it's a good place to get a nibble before you spend a few hours at the hall of fame. Or when you're done, and you just need a quick bite before your evening BBQ, stop in there. You won't be disappointed with the hot dogs!

Just off the main street, this below street level hot dog shop offers dogs plain, with chili, cheese or both. Any way your choose, the dogs are very tasty.

Service was great. Best hot dog I've ever had. Young people working just maybe two or three of them but they had a sign saying some of their employees were still playing ball so bare with them. Food was great service was great.
