Made a first time pitstop from our long roadtrip here with the family on a roadtrip. The food was delicious especially the chicken quesadilla and chicken wings. The service was great, the waitress and her trainee did a great job, smiled and were hospitable.

Hometown dining. A dog rescue brought me to the local vet in Dansville and while I waited I ate at the Sunrise Restaurant which I picked from other Google reviews! The hometown environment was definitely reinforced when I heard the guys at the counter joking with the waitress that they had texted her. My sausage biscuits and gravy was scrumptious. I asked for my eggs a very specific way and they nailed it. Since I had lots of time on my hands I stayed for something sweet. The chocolate cream pie is outstanding! The pie crust was the best I’ve had in years. I’m hoping to come here again.

My family and I came up from Rochester to bring our cat to the vet. While waiting we were looking for food. We found sunrise and it was an amazing experience! Our server Ellie was the nicest young lady ever! She went out of her way to help us and she was extremely thoughtful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and friendly. Everyone had a smile one their face! It was the greatest experience I’ve had in a long while. Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through or living here!
