First time at this restaurant. We sat in the patio portion of the restaurant. We were not rushed at dinner. Waiters were very attentive. Food was very good. The chicken francaise was very tasty. The cappilini cakes were very good.
4/10/24 After seeing so many videos of King Umberto on social media I happen to be very close by and I and I could not avoid going in trying the linguini and shrimp with red sauce and of course one of their famous bombolone donuts made on Wednesdays. Lucky it was Wednesday because wow that thing was out of this world and so was the food. Thank you to John the owner for being a gracious host as well as his staff which was far above and beyond most places. If they will most definitely be seeing me again. Can't wait to try the many different dishes they have as well as the different flavors of donuts.Parking: Valet parking available.

I called for shrimp parmesan on a hero and I got 3 shrimps for $17.81 and these shrimps are not jumbo shrimps. I called restaurant disappointed and the man on the phone said “ its the store policy only 3 shrimps”. So I basically ate bread with sauce and a bit of cheese for almost $18.00. What a rip off. I called this place because it has a good reputation. A restaurant is supposed to make people happy with the food. Not upset or disappointedDo not order shrimp parmesan on a hero.

Dear Mr.Rosario,My family had many good memories in your restaurant. On the take-out area we usually had great customer service, kind and nice people inside, EXCEPT LAST EASTER SUNDAY, a big baker guy with tinted hair and tattoos made our visit so miserable, at the end we have to cancel our order and leave the restaurant.We were told by the waiter that he had a previous incident with someone else but that's not the case to be treated and intimidated, that guy scare us.We are no planning to come back, King's Umberto and Umberto's are the greatest pizza places, but we prefer a nice customer service and Umberto's in New Hyde Park has it.
