The manager was taking up a seat with her laptop.very unprofessional. The manager should have relegated herself to her office. especially when she saw how busy it was. I left without a drink I was too annoyed

Went for a work function. Had drinks and appetizers. Corn beef/cabbage taco, calamari, wings, dip really good. Angel of NY and espresso martini delicious. We sat outside in the tent that was nice with the warm weather. Looking forward to going back.

This was such a disappointment. Read the view all said it very noisy.Very noisy doesn't even cover it, so impossible to have a dinner conversation. Food; so many said it was good, it was mediocre @ best. Service was ok, except for when it came time to serve entrees

Everything last night was perfect. It was a rainy, lousy night, made fantastic by Park Place. Six of us at the round table, Islanders beating the Bruins on the big screen next to us, and a meal I did not want to end. First of all, our server Maddy's enthusiasm and recos were spot on. She was exactly perfectly attentive, charming and engaging. I asked her about her favorites and she cited the weather and said if you're looking for comfort food...and rattled off quite a lineup. I went with the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad to start because I knew I was going hearty on the entree with the French Onion Pork Chop special. Phenomenal. Impossibly huge chop, clearly carefully brined. Expertly prepared, hot and juicy. The French Onion gravy was at the same time sweet and savory, rich and just perfect. Sauteed broccoli rabe and butternut squash puree were perfect accompaniments. So many other dishes to try. Looking around our table and watching plates go by on their way to others, it was just sensory overload. We will be back again and again. Thanks Maddy and thanks, Park Place.
The noise level in this place was way above what is acceptable in a public place. Was seated at a very small table with my wife and could not hear my wife speak. There is cafeteria seating which I was not aware of when I booked the reservation. I don't know what to say other than I won't be eating there again. What a difference from their other place. Sorry to say this.

I've been to the prior location on Covert Avenue but on 2/28/24 was my first visit to their new location, even though I live local. About 4:30pm, the bar was empty so we had a few drinks. Gina was a friendly, attentive bartender. At the bar, we ordered the tuna tacos tartare, the braised short rib roll and raw oysters. Gina also gave us bread, so I requested a side of vodka sauce (very good). The fish was fresh but the short rib roll was a standout. After the shift change, the place was fairly busy, and extremely loud! Kelly was our bartender and she was less than attentive or even friendly. We ordered entrees to share: the crispy salmon and the filet mignon special, both medium rare. Both dishes were tasty but the filet was overcooked. The bartender offered to redo the dish or take it off the bill. Ironically, she wasn't really apologetic until she delivered the check. Sadly, there are so many other local places with better acoustics, service and food.

Overpriced drinks, rude staff. Not the place you remember from Covert Avenue. Stay away. You'll thank me.

Gina was our server. We had a terrific experience with our whole family. Everyone was thrilled with the food, beer and wine options and the entire staff was absolutely delightful. A special thrill was the house Chardonnay, Sonoma C. Everyone was so polite and had a smile on their face. Truly welcoming vibe. We’ll def be back.
