Like the atmosphere and decor. Nice and quiet, serene with an open kitchen. Very atypical for a Chinese restaurant in Flushing. Their dishes are also unique in the sense that they aren't typically served elsewhere. Food is just a bit on the saltier side but that's just personal preference.
The interior was so aesthetically pleasing, they really aced that component. The food itself was very well savored, but it was a mix of both very authentic and pretty mediocre. We ordered soup dumplings and the skin and the soup was super well made! The Pan Fried Pork Buns' skin was a tad bit thicker but the flavor was definitely there. Been a while since I've been here, but I hunger for the day when I can return. Their Rice Cakes with pork and preserved vegetables are, in my opinion, the best in Flushing, possibly the best in Flushing AND Manhattan. Their Grandma Fried rice is also very good.
