Went to get a quick bite to eat after leaving the lirr station. Was pleasantly surprised by how good the Ribs were. Would go back for a full raco next time. The chicken is decent but yeah definitely the ribs were the star

Best place to eat

This used to be my go-to spot for takeout. The portion sizes are generous—definitely enough to hold you over until the next day. They offer a solid variety, including fish, chicken, and more.

I wasn’t crazy about my most recent experience, though. I recently stopped eating chicken and beef, so for the first time, I tried their salmon. I ordered salmon with rice and two sides—plantains and macaroni salad. All of these items were familiar to me from previous visits, except for the salmon.
Don't get me wrong—the portion was huge—but the salmon just wasn’t that flavorful. What really caught me off guard was the price: $31. I’ve never paid more than $14 here before. The price point always matched the food... until now.

That said, aside from this last visit, my experiences here have always been pleasant.

Genesis it’s one of my favorite place to go eat. They have a great variety of Central American food that you will love, also American food. The best pollo al horno in Freeport. Would recommend to anyone.

Exquisite food and excellent customer service, their prices are fair for the quality of their food.

I had lunch here today and it was really good! I got the grilled chicken with yellow rice and sweet plantains and two chicken and cheese empanadas.The grilled chicken and rice were good. The sweet plaintains were’t really very sweet how I like them but they were pretty good. The chicken empanadas were good and cheesy but I wish they had beef and cheese instead.Overall this is a pretty good lunch spot, and considering the area not too unreasonably priced. I would definitely go back here again.

Parking: There is no parking lot. You have to park in the street.

Kid-friendliness: You could definitely bring kids and your family there with no issues.
