“I ate here a few years ago and it was great. I have tried to go back three times, including last night, and have been met with chaos and poor service leading us to go somewhere else every single time. There is no organization in terms of someone finding you a table. If staff put your name down, it would save some stress and we would’ve just sat at the bar a bit waiting. Instead, regulars/people who came after swiftly took tables that opened up. For a place so small, half the tables were reserved. I get taking reservations, but maybe do it on an online platform so I would’ve seen there was no availability ? Or thought to myself to make a reservation. Lastly, I have to sadly agree with one of the reviews below about the female bartender. She honestly was no help on multiple occasions and just wanted to continue talking to her friends. Hopefully I can actually eat here again one day as the food is amazing.“
“Upon walking in I was greeted professionally. I ordered the signature rice bowl and galbi bone-in wings. Both items were delicious. I took a bite while in the parking lot just to taste while fresh then drive to my destination about 15 minutes away and guess what the chicken still had some crunch to it. Will be back soon to explore the menu more.“

“I love this place! Believe me, everything you read about the chicken wings here is spot on. They are meaty, juicy, and delicious. Jen helped me out and she couldn't have been nicer. She even started singing behind the bar! That's the kind of neighborhood spot this is. It feels like it's been around for 100 years and everyone is made to feel welcome. I can't wait to return because there were so many items on the menu and so many beers on tap it's impossible to conquer it all on just one visit. This is the perfect dive bar.“

“We drive all the way from Cobleskill for their pizza and wings . Very friendly staff. The pizza and wings are REALLY GOOD. Even warmed up the next day . I usually don't like reheated pizza and wings ..but these are just as good as when we picked it up fresh. Worth traveling for if you wanna pick up a good pizza . Very good prices too. We are going to try a few of their entrees the next visit . Please support this small business they are well deserving.“
“Beautiful pub with friendly staff and many beers on tap. No loud music playing so you can actually have a conversation with your friends and not be “yell-talking” to be heard! My small critique: I wish the bartenders would serve beers in their accompanying branded glasses (or just have no brands on the glass at all). “My boyfriend & I & my mother & her friend went here this evening. Food was DELICIOUS. Had good taste. Wasn’t to seasoned wasn’t to bland. I for sure thought it was going to take like a hour for hour food but I doubted this place. Our food was served to us within 15 minutes & it’s was hot and fresh. Our server was very nice. & so was the lady that helped pack up our food. She went out of her way to make sure that our food was packed safe & sound eve went as far as stapling the bag closed for us. 10/10 recommend!.“

“Been there twice. Decent food and quick courteous service both times. So had the beef Philly, chicken gyro, fish (whiting I think), wings with a couple of sauces and chicken nuggets. My favorite was the beef Philly. Adequate size and good taste. Wife liked the gyro. Wings were good enough to order again but not great. I liked the large selection of sauces. Fried fish was good. A little more thin and crunchy than I prefer but acceptable. The chicken was large flat pieces of breast which were better than traditional little nuggets from a fast food place. Joel M. said it was the bomb for college kids in his review and I agree. I would have eaten there a lot if it was near my school. Overall, definitely worth trying for a quick meal.“
“This place is very much not closed. New ownership since COVID so I don't think "Maria's" is in the name anymore it's just Tailgate. New owner is a ]nice young guy and customer service is good. This is a neighborhood townie type place which has it's charm. The clientele will be throwing around a lot of salty language late at night but it's mostly 50 plus so any bar fight is more likely to be comical than dangerous. Now down to the what's important. The wings are amazing and the home made blue cheese is incredible. I won't go anywhere else for wings in Guilderland. People I've come with have all been satisfied with their meals (burgers, nachos, salads etc.). Beer/drink selection and price are standard for a neighborhood bar. Even though there is a no frills vibe the interior was recently redone and it's nice and clean.... this isn't exactly a dive bar. Stop in for the great wings and you'll more than likely meet some fun characters while enjoying your quality meal.“
