Foster's Harbor Inn

These people are absolutely amazing! Me and my fishing buddy got stranded at the marina due to a bad storm and couldn’t get 30 miles back down river to our truck and trailer. Carol and Brandi help us as complete strangers and gave us a ride by car all the way back down to Clayton. They are absolute angels! The true definition of Good Samaritans! Afterwards we got a bite to eat and the food was the best we had eaten anywhere in the area all week while on our trip. Highly recommend fish fry Friday!!

Thank goodness for the internet! Or else we wouldn’t have known about this gem. It was lunchtime and the Foster Harbor Inn was only 2.4 miles away. Tucked in off the main road. Obviously know to the local clientele. Our waitress was very upbeat and personable. Generous portions on the shrimp and fried fish combos AND a hamburger that was actually prepared to MEDIUM! Three thumbs up !

We had a very good lunch. The homemade brownie ? was the BEST I've ever had! It's clean, beautifully decorated but let's get to the best part of all...Brandy! As our server we were blown away by her! Friendly, sweet and one of the best customer service reps I have ever had at my table! She's a treasure!

Not everyday you have the owner take your order. Carol is super sweet. I had a fish sandwich, slaw and fries all great. Hubby had the steak wrap and said it was really good. Sat outside with a nice water view!

Quintessential American bar.Reasonably priced, friendly and welcoming.If you're looking for table linens and professional service, this is not the place. Wine list ? Forget it.If, on the other hand, you enjoy a burger, beer or well drinks in good company you will have a great time.

family and i didn't appreciate the customer service from morgan, doesnt seem to want to work there/serve people that aren't regulars. food was meh
