“A really great BBQ experience. We've been driving past this place for years, never had the opportunity to stop in. Today we made a special trip just to check it out. Well worth it! Had the ribs, chicken, and shrimp combo with q side of beans and potato salad. Oh, and cornbread. Chicken and ribs falling off the bone, no need to use the knife. Shrimp are nicely sized, and coated in an excellent cornmeal batter. Sauce on the ribs and chicken is sweet and smoky, exactly what my ideal barbecue sauce would be. The wife had the pulled pork sandwich platter with a side of mac-n-cheese, all of which were excellent. The platter came with a tremendous amount of fries! This is a counter service establishment, and the girl behind the counter was upbeat and very friendly. The atmosphere is like of one of those Memphis homes that was converted into a restaurant; small amount of seating, and comfortable and friendly. Ok, one thing, no sweet tea available, but some Snapple tea with lemon is an acceptable substitute. Definitely coming back“
“Actually ate at Sam's. Newly updated, renovated space looks great! As always you feel like family when there. We started out at the bar and chatted with Ron then moved to a booth for dinner. Food was fabulous!! Chef came out to talk with us as well. Lovely evening!“

“I had ate at this place for the first time the other day and I really enjoyed it. The best Mac & cheese I have ever had and the cornbread is delicious. I’m only rating this 4 stars bc I’d love to see more southern gems on the menu like candy yams , mash potatoes, collard greens etc. really great place, hope to see more on the menu in the future!“

“I've driven by this place a billion times and never once gave it a second thought. I'm also not a food truck kinda guy but wow did I just find a new spot to frequent.
Prices are so reasonable considering today's absurdity and the food is great. I had the brisket and pulled pork sandwiches, both tasted great. My foodie fiance loved it as well and she's a tough crowd.
If you skipped this place before, turn back and give it a shot. The guy who helped me was very polite, which is rare to see good in person customer service these days. Trust me, this joint should have way more than 30 reviews.“

“Really good food. You get buffet style and then you pay by the weight. But i get to pick from so many Ecuadorean dishes that like. I wish i had a place like this in NYC but definitely recommend for the good food and price. I paid $20 for plate, soup and soda. Too much food had to take it to go.“

“This spot is my preferred one. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The team is very amicable and the food they offer is so flavorful. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.“
