How sloppy and horribly written is this cake?? Unbelievable i had to come home with this garbage. Then when i told him you messed up my cake the literal child working goes “well you don’t pay extra for it anyways” as if that gives him a right to mess it up. Unbelievable do better.

I typically stop here on my way home from work as it’s convenient, never has issues. I passed by today and there was a gentleman infringe me ordering a sizable amount of items, so I stood aside to let the mam get his order. I was patiently waiting as it was just the two of us in the store, about 5 minutes later a group of 3 guys come in and don’t you know it, he is offered service before me. I walk up to the lady and ask if there is a reason she didn’t offer me services while I waiting my turn, her answer “ I didn’t even see you there”!!!!! In a space so open and so small you really didn’t see me ? Glad caravel is a chain and there is one not to far!Having read a few more reviews after posting mine I realized this place seems to act the same way towards POC!

Nicole is an absolute gem to deal with when it comes to cakes and cake decorating. Our family's thing is everyone gets a Carvel cake for their birthday. She has always come through. My cake this year, no different! The kids who work the shop are always nice, courteous and helpful. My cake below..Parking: Small "mini mall" lot.Kid-friendliness: Its Carvel...lol..

Totally racistI walked in and wasn’t greeted. There was only one other customer there and 2 employees. One employee was standing there doing absolutely nothing yet still couldn’t greet us.When it’s my turn to order, the employee is standing there, no “how can I help” not even a “what do you want” complete SILENCE. I proceed to order my ice cream. I asked for a soft serve with fudge on top, she drenched my ice cream in fudge. Didn’t even ask me how much I wanted.My experience could have been worse but a lot can be said and felt in silence.

It’s a bad feeling here my skin is really dark & I stand tall I speak with respect & far from others however the looks was nasty from the employees & customers I hate racist ppl I wanted to leave but my 7 year old never been to carvels 2 stars for the few times I’ve been with my mom & godfather who happens to be Italian

This teenage workers at this location seem to live up to the neighborhoods stereotype other then that its just as lousy as the one on liberty ave in richmond hill.
Came here for a shake with a friendWasn’t offered toppings, so I asked for some…ThenI felt total racism towards us…Never felt that type before in Howard beach,Total shock.. 6pm shift with the teenagers

I always order the same thing but it gets worse and worse each time with each new face that gets hired there. I understand they're teens that got a quick job for cash, but they should be able to understand the order. This is my last time coming here. I ask for a lot of nutella. I say it every time... where is it? Then this kid that did it didn't even fill it to the top, and gives it to me in a cup that's got two cracks in it. It's annoying to walk out of there paying for pretty much just Vanilla soft serve. I don't need to spend $8 on it because I can make the same thing at home with regular ice cream and Nutella, but I like to treat myself...I'm sure they're great with other stuff, but this is all I come for and I will no longer waste my money and time there.

The owner is a thief. He charges for every topping on a sundae. Outrageous. Also charges 4 percent if you use a credit card.! 1 was charged 12 dollars for a sundae. STAY AWAY from this THIEF!
