Traveled an hour plus to meet friends who traveled 44 minutes only to find out it was closed for winter ? ? Left several messages for reservations along with website reservations for nothing. Camon Glory ? Your answering machine spends the first few minutes touting your accomplishments... When maybe you should let folks know you close for winter or even on tour website ? I mean, it is 2023 time to start updating your stuff. For this reason, I am sad to say i will not travel again, As i have no confidence the place is open when they say they are open.

Beautiful building. The restaurants along Warren St are seriously beautiful. Staff was super friendly. Husband and friends were craving Hudson Valley meats/BBQ. I was sad to find nothing vegan here (they had a vegetarian burger but not vegan. Thats okay- its an American style BBQ place. BUT Hudson Valley normally has vegan choices a plenty) Thats okay- I enjoyed a drink. My one friend said his sandwich was amazing. My husband liked his pulled pork but said he has had pulled pork better in other places for half the cost. Overall, it was a nice place to eat after a long day of exploring around. I just wish the place would make a fully vegan choice on the menu like a impossible burger with a choice of vegan cheese/toppings for the non meat eaters tagging along. ;)

Joe and the team at American Glory are the best! They made our Wedding Welcome Dinner so very special. Great BBQ, great drinks, and a stellar staff. Thanks again team!

They are closed for the winter! Not indicated anywhere on the website or reservation voicemail! Fortunately there were other available options.

Great waitress but my group of 4 did notlike this place simply because the food was not good. 2 of us ordered the only burger on the menu, and the other 2 ordered chicken and waffles. We ordered a Mac and cheese ball appetizer. The burgers were cooked right but were simply edible. The chicken was greasy in an unflattering way and we didn’t want to finish it, with weirdly textured skin. The Mac and cheese balls were edible but dry and basically bland. The woman who ordered the chicken and waffles needed a slice of pizza afterwards because of the food she left on her plate.

We had a new server. Granted. I pointed on the menu what I wanted, yet did not receive that. Not sure what was happening, but I never received what I ordered by the time my wife was done with her meal. The manager did adjust our bill and I am grateful for that.

Nice decor. Waitresses seemed a little frantic though the place was relatively empty. Might have been a kitchen staff issue as it took quite a while for our food to arrive.

I came here with my adult son, who is disabled. I have a stupid onion allergy that always requires negotiation when ordering, and there was a lot of going back and forth between our server and his manager/supervisor, a young woman. Our server couldn't have been nicer, but the 'manager' was barely civil and kept rolling her eyes a lot. I saw someone else come in and she was super nice to that customer. I don't know what we did that we did not inspire her to be kind to us, but believe me, we felt it. There was only one other party in the restaurant at the time - 12 pm on a Monday! Like you don't have time to be decent to an old lady with an allergy and autistic man? Whatever!

Everything we ordered was tasty and good portions. The homemade pickles were really good. Pulled pork had a great taste, liked the Carolina style sauce. Brisket was good too. Prices added up for a bbq place but worth the visit.

American glory bbq was slight tasty. Started off with the pork belly skewers with some delicious granny smith apples. Then came the fluffy bun with pulled pork & slaw with brine pickles. That were home made in house with crisp sweet potato fries. To the big bang with loads of meat with slab bacon, ribs, Texas Brisket, sausage. That came with creamy slaw & red beans & rice as well as a huge piece of cornbread. Now this where things went wrong with the sides. The coleslaw needed seasoning, red beans & rice was bland. The beans weren't fully cooked. Cornbread was dry & would been better if it was hit with some warm butter. Also with some honey butter to keep it moist would of made it just perfect.

The staff here was nice and helpful, but the food was over priced and just not good. The pulled pork had a very strong vinegar flavor that was not enjoyable and was so soggy that the bottom of both our sandwhiches were basically soaked and inedible. The brisket was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, not a good representation of good BBQ.

The hostess and waitress were both friendly, but unfortunately the overall experience was a negative one. The problem seems to stem from the owners trying to cut costs and not having a qualified chef / cooks on. The burger we got tasted very off. Its texture was very sus, it was not seasoned, and tasted like old meat. It was inedible. The overall service was slow, but I will attribute that to not enough staff on at the same time, as the staff was visibly hustling. The issue with the kitchen is a bigger problem here, because it was insulting to wait long for bad food. Wish we read these reviews before sitting inside. The fries were the saving grace. Well seasoned and delicious.

The outside of the restaurant looks alluring and will draw you in, but don't be fooled. I ate here a month ago and am still cringing about how bad it was. We went for lunch and it wasn't very busy inside. We were seated instantly by a friendly host, but then it was all downhill from there. We weren't greeted by a server or asked if we wanted anything to drink, actually we were not even acknowledged for... I am not kidding... 15 minutes. We sat twiddling our thumbs and looking at the menu. By the time our server showed up, he gave us water but didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Water it was. We were already annoyed because Hudson has metered parking and we were wasting time just sitting. We put in our order and the food came out uncomfortably quick. The chicken was still pink and the brisket was 75% fat, so most of it was inedible. We stopped eating the chicken out of fear of getting food poisoning. I am only giving it two stars because the sides were very good -- the collard greens, rice and beans, and cornbread were tasty. We still left hungry and disappointed we couldn't eat most of our meal. The check paying process also was long and drawn out. Overall we wasted an hour and a half of our day and left hungry. Our waiter was unfriendly and didn't seem to know what he was doing at all. We will not return.
