When it’s good, it’s great. When it’s not, it’s terrible. Consistency is the single most important part of any business. I truly do not appreciate the shortness with which I am treated both in person and over the phone and seriously don’t understand why they don’t order more of the good italian bread instead of the tasteless soggy kind you would find at a crappy bodega. The ingredients are there, if I come back, I’m buying them separately and making the sandwiches on my own. I was buying these for someone in the city but they were so turned off by the last order they will never request anything else. They are busy, I get it. It makes them arrogant- that will very quickly turn into less business. I miss the old owners- they never missed.

When I moved to Huntington Station, I needed to find a nice sandwich shop. Tried a few delis but then came across A&S. This is now my favorite take out joint. The sandwiches are phenomenal and so fresh tasting. Their roasted turkey and Swiss is a great example. Homemade. Real turkey, not turkey roll. Not salty but flavorful. With a nice dollop of mayo. Every order has been delicious. And when you go in there you see all this food! Different salads. Lasagna. Meatballs. Eggplant parm, mmm. Stromboli, yum. Even the broccoli will have you wanting a taste. There’s so many options. Even for vegetarians there is wonderful options. And they will make pretty much anything you want. And they also will have you set for a big family dinner. Fresh meats, bread(which goes fast), sauces…! Great service and everyone works their butt off. So glad I discovered this place.

Phenomenal deli for sandwiches! A great chicken cutlet roll has been on my to-get list on this trip back East. Let's start from the bread - perfect fluffy roll, tenderized chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, lettuce, and red onions and mayo spread. We called it in and picked up. The sandwiches were warm, fresh and perfectly made.
Ordered Italianhero, guy opened up a precut pack of meats and threw it on a hero. It wasn’t even Italian bread. Also ordered the antipasto salad. It was filled with an inch of oil and meat/cheese were all hard and dried out. Never going back. The original A&S was good, this one should close down.

Great food. The service was a little off I had went to go into the refrigerator to get some ravioli but a employee or owner had cut in front of me to service a customer. Wich I get ok. But to stand in front of the door for 5 minutes and to have a conversation with them while blocking the door was off putting.
