This is a Chinese fast food, takeout joint. Our family has been patronizing this establishment for approximately 30 years. They can always be counted on to deliver, consistent quality Chinese dinners without any fanfare, hassle, or surprises. Would I put them in the class as a Ruth Chris steakhouse? Probably not. But I would put them as a reliable, good Chinese takeout that you can count on. They have, of course menu items, but also will customize the dishes to your preference.

This place is ridiculous! We ordered at 6:15pm and they told us 45 minutes. We waited almost 2 hours and called to see when our food would be delivered. They had no idea what was going on and asked us to wait another 10 minutes. This is not the first time. They don’t care about customer service. Wr gave them multiple times and will never order from them again!

Tiny little spot, you get what you pay for. Quick, easy, and tasty. Is it spotless inside? Definitely not, but this is a takeout spot. Definitely a reliable chinese spot

Don't let the atmosphere fool you. No eat-in table and chairs, its mainly a takeout restaurant.

I used to enjoy their food. I don't know what happened but the quality has gone really down. A while back I ordered a simple steamed chicken and broccoli and found a spider boiled into the chicken. Found some hair. Hair happens. But it happens here a lot.

I ordered from here for 4 of us this past Sunday, August 13, 2023. We have been ordering Chinese Food from this location for as long as I can remember (over 15 years) This last time will be the last time I order from here ever. The food was not good at all. Everything that they used to make that was delicious, was absolutely awful. Their Hot & Sour Soup is NOTHING like it used to be. It wasn't good at all (it used to be the best) Their General Tao's Shrimp was terrible. Again, this was my favorite dish from any Chinese Food Restaurant on Long Island and now it is uneatable. It is such an absolute shame that this once very, very good restaurant is just not good anymore. Nothing we got there was worth ever ordering again. Such a shame. We were absolutely disappointed.

No latter grade but they did 15 orders in like 20 to 30 minutes.

I have went to this establishment as a kid until I was a young adult. My experience recently was my last sadly. I grew up loving this local Chinese spot. For my family it was the go to. Jacky’s kitchen was consistent and affordable to say the least. The last time I went I was shocked to say the least. I found a very long black hair in my food. It was straight hair. Now I know what you’re thinking, I have extremely short hair and it’s curly. That long straight jet black hair was not mine and it was underneath the food. I was shocked and disappointed. I went to the store the next day because at that point it had been closed. So the next day I go the women at the counter(with long black straight hair) decides to argue with me and have an attitude also many of the other employees were very rude. She did not give me a refund I showed her the hair but she did not care. She instead got extremely rude and angry. I will never go to this establishment again. Save your money!! Much better food and customer service at other establishments on the island. 0 stars !!!!

The fiancé and I share one day a week together, and sadly this particular day our scheduling just didn't work out and we had to cancel the day. So to drown my woes I decided a little spot of greasy, salty, umami-rich depression-reducing takeaway from a local Chinese restaurant was just what I needed.Sadly, what I got was not what I was expecting...Jacky Kitchen has been around for a LONG time - I'm over 30 years old (37, if anyone cares) and this place has been in the same spot for as long as I can remember. I'd never eaten here before and I thought, 'let's give it a try.' I was sorely disappointed. The food is your standard Americanized Chinese - Pork Lo Mein, Crab Rangoon, Beef and Broccoli, and greasy Egg Rolls. Standard fare. But there was absolutely NO FLAVOR to the food. Bland, tasteless and just generally pretty crumby. Blech. Not only that, but the kitchen looked foul. Let me clarify. Sickly. Not the dirtiest kitchen I've seen, but not an 'A' rating... or 'B' rating for that matter. Probably not even a 'C' rating either. Food was EVERYWHERE. On the counters, on the tables... in trays... UNDER THE COUNTERS. ON THE FLOOR!Yikes! Someone call a Health Inspector, ASAP.I regretted even putting a fork-full into my mouth - I figured the Egg Roll would be okay because it's fried at over 350 degrees... that should kill the Salmonella the filling undoubtedly contained, right?I will NOT be coming back. One and done. There are plenty of other greasy-spoon sub-par Chinese joints in the area dishing out SIGNIFICANTLY better quality and tastier dishes.Vegetarian options: Like most Chinese takeaways, they've got them. Do I recommend them. Nope.Kid-friendliness: ...if you're planning on dining in at this establishment, you've pretty much hit rock bottom. If you're planning on bringing your kids here to eat, you're likely a divorced Dad and you're apartment is a sh*thole that's pretty much uninhabitable or suitable for children anyway.Parking: I was uncomfortable parking my car here during the day... at night I wouldn't be caught dead there. Pretty sure call-girls and lot-lizards prowl the unlit parking lot at night.Wheelchair accessibility: Are you kidding me? This place doesn't have a public bathroom, has one ancient seating booth probably stolen from a pizzeria from the 70's, and all but one of the goldfish in the stores fishtank were floating on the waters surface. Do you really think this place is ADA compliant?Dietary restrictions: If you value your colon or bowels in ANY capacity, stay away.
