Great place for drinks and dancing! The dance floor opens around 10:30 pm on Saturday nights. We ordered only appetizers and didn't like the quality of the food. The fried calamari and avocado with chips didn't taste fresh.

This is an amazing place for quiet draft beer drinking. Food is excellent. Service is one-on-one with an attractive female bartender. My tab came to over $100 with a $20 tip. However, it was the ideal experience for a "staycation".

Cooking a steak to the correct temperature should be one of the easiest things in the world. If you can't get that right then choose another line of work. Also, the restaurant billed itself as Hawaiian cuisine. I didn't get that from the menu
i know that we had a larger party (of 13 all adults except 2) but the service was terrible and the three of the entrees had to be sent back due to being incorrect. Our service was the probably the most frustrating part of the whole night. She obviously did not feel the need to wait on us and check on us very often. It felt as if she knew gratuity was going to be included on our check (any party more then 10) so she didn't have to work for her tip and it truly showed. It was a little busy of course being a Saturday, but it was nothing crazy. I had high exceptions for this place and i was let down. I understand why they do the things they do (like adding gratuity) of course. But take care or your tables. Don't just expect things. It's a little ridiculous. .

We arrived a few minutes late because of the weather. We were greeted very well and brought to a table immediately. Then, we waited a long time to meet our waiter. no water or contact for over 10 minutes or more. Finally we asked for a waiter and someone walked over and spoke very fast and all we could understand was the word busy. Our food arrived within a reasonable amount of time but not how it was ordered. We waited and tried to get someone's attention but again no response. I ate my extremely over cooked pork chops and my wife never received the ketchup for here impossible burger. Another waitress provided our check. The restaurant had about 50% occupancy and it seemed that there were a lot of people working. Not sure where the problem was but the place looks nice and the food looked like it was prepared well but just not for our table that night.
Dined in before going to the paramount for a show and the food was amazing . The Service was also amazing Jada was our waitress and she was so nice and accommodating. We will be back soon

We went early on a Saturday evening. Everything they brought to the table from the bread to the coffee was first rate. The food is not only well prepared but creative and impressive. Portions are generous. We recommend the Berkshire Pork Chop and the Asian style cod. We haven't been here in awhile and will definitely return.
Always a great visit to Honu. George at the bar and manager Sal always make us feel like we're home. Had a reservation but sat at the bar for their happy hour specials. Don't miss out!

This place has a cool and relaxed vibe. The servers and bartenders are friendly and attentive. The food was good, we had the grouper with risotto and Salmon with pineapple dressing. It was fresh and clean tasting and delicious. The price was pleasantly and surprisingly affordable, located across from the Paramount theater a great place to walk to if you're in town.

Understaffed, high prices, incompetent servers, horrible waiter, load atmosphere which wasn't too bad. Reservations made well in advance but table not ready. Warm beer. Everyone received their meaDissl except one person. Poor quality of food and to top it off, sandwiches were mixed up.

Had an absolutely AMAZING dinner experience here with friends. All of the food was delicious (as always) and you can't leave without a couple of coconut martinis! Our server Brendan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and Sal the general manager always goes above and beyond to make your dining experience flawless. We love coming here more each and every time we visit; both the food and hospitality are superb!

PLEASE READ-BRIDAL SHOWER- DAY OF EVENT: panick, stress and disappointment. Event took place on a Sunday, June 2023. We were told we would be able to set up an hour in advance but no one showed up to open the restaurant to prepare for us to come in. When we got in the restaurant it was never cleaned from the night before. There were dirty linens on tables with used cutlery and dirty cups and dishes and so on. Floors were not vacuumed as well. My event coordinator was no wear to be found as well as the manager. My husband and I as well as guests had to go into panic mode with the waiters and cook to get the place ready for my daughters shower. We had vendors : flower wall and florists preparing in a dirty environment. We had to do it all as well as my husband vacuuming the restaurant !! This is a pre-warning for any parent who wants to have a special experience for there loved one. Don’t do it at Honu. Sal, the manager offered a better drink package for our guests. That was it. He showed up 1 1/2 hours into the party. If you want to book and know the staff will show up don’t do it here. They gave 4 different excuses of why the doors weren’t open. I don’t ever want to give a bad review but I would never want anyone else to deal with this lack of respect for there loved one. The event coordinator had no respect for our party or our daughter. She stated she was on her way that day and I’m still waiting for her to show up. That was 3 days ago!! Just know what your dealing with before you book a special event!! Beautiful atmosphere, live music band played sooo many hits we loved the whole meal from beginning to end. Our waitress offered the watermelon salad special and wow. Can't wait to return. Service was as perfect as the food.

BRIDAL SHOWER definitely NOT! No one showed up to open the doors the day of my daughters Bridal Shower! My husband showed up to Honu and found staff locked out. Unfortunately for us, they were the cleaning crew. Honu does not clean their facility the night of a party, but instead waits for the next day to clean. So, my husband, guests and I started to clean stripping tables of dirty linens, cutlery, plates and cups. Then we had to move tables and then my husband began to vacuum (oh yes you heard it right) vacuum. Do yourself and have a party in a restaurant with class. For the management to let this happen just shows how much they hate their jobs, and it shows. No customer service skills at all. Sincerely df
