Ordered doordash from here on a Tuesday night for the first time and I was honestly shocked at the lack of care, lack of quality assurance, and carelessness of the chefs if you could even call them that. After having terrible food poising experiences from Chinese restaurants I've been extra cautious and thankfully I was csuse nearly half of my order of sesame chicken and dim sum was undercooked. Meat still raw, chicken still pink.If your one job is to cook food at a restaurant and serve people and this place failing at that I'm shocked it's still open.

Ming Star takeout in Huntington, an extraordinary Chinese establishment that often flies under the radar. Now, let me tell you, it's about time this place gets the recognition it deserves. The kitchen here is producing top-notch dishes that'll make your taste buds do a victory dance. As you step in, you're hit with the symphony of sizzling oil and the rhythmic melody of metal on the hot wok. It's like a culinary orchestra, and trust me, they're playing all the right notes. The atmosphere may be reminiscent of a 1990s classic, but the flavors are anything but outdated. They don't just serve you reheated leftovers; oh no, they're crafting each dish fresh to order. Now, that's the commitment to quality that I want to see in every kitchen. The lunch special? Don't even get me started—it's a game-changer. Picture this: chicken fried rice, but we're not stopping there. Add a glorious egg and throw in some extra bean sprouts for that crunch that elevates the whole experience. So, next time you're craving Chinese takeout in Huntington, do yourself a favor and head to Ming Star. It's a hidden gem, and after one bite, you'll wonder why you haven't been singing its praises sooner.

For the 3rd time in 5 visits they overcharge you and try to be sneaky this time an extra 1.50. Very ignorant and food is about a 3. Watch if you buy something I gaur7ntee rheyll lie and charge an extra .50cents . No respect.

The meat in the chicken lo mein had neither the flavor nor the texture of chicken. Can't really tell what it was.

Horrible. Ordered chicken with rice soup. What they gave me was boiled water with a lump of rice. The worst Chinese food I have ever encountered.

Ming Star has the most amazing takeout food in the area. Their food is fresh and abundant. The food is prepared quickly and the owners are very nice. I highly recommend this Chinese takeout. You can't go wrong with them.

Absolutely terribleOrdered Chicken Lo Mein Lunch Special with Pork Fried Rice. Most places offer either Egg Roll or cheap soup as well.I asked for soup and they advised $2 extra (criminals). Then we get the food, and despite being Chicken Lo Mein, there was no chicken (absolute rip off criminals).

Chinese food is not as good as it use to be. You people are just serving food, not caring about the taste. I just wasted twenty bucks.
