Had dinner here 2 weeks prior and the entire experience was so great, I thought it would be good enough to bring my husband here for his birthday dinner before a show at the Paramount. Sadly, it was a mistake. FOOD 1st time Fajitas and Short Rib Mole Enchiladas - Very, Very Good!!! Tasty, hot, fresh and plenty to even take home 2nd time (2) Short Rib Mole Enchiladas - Meh, hardly any meat, bland sauce, not worth it DRINKS 1st time Mexican Mule (honestly, pretty awful, but I like sweet. So not a deal breaker.) 2nd time Mission Margarita (it's a Mexican restaurant, so margaritas to be sure, right? Wrong. C'mon, even I can make a good one, they're so easy to make. But the bartender didn't.) NOISE LEVEL It's a busy place and all of the surfaces are hard so sounds bounce with amplification. The din wasn't that noticable the first time because it was mostly couples. But the second time there was a loud party at the front. So people sitting near the party were loud which made the people sitting near those louder and so on. Ironically, I happened to be seated at the exact same table both times. But on the second visit the noise level was so loud, there were moments my ears hurt. They would do well to add drapes, seat cushions, baffles and other sound absorbing materials. SERVICE 1st time: EXCELLENT!! Fast, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive 2nd time: Just okay. Probably worked in a burger joint before he got hired for Mission Taco. Friendly and courteous for sure, but he didn't come back to ask us how our meals were. If he had, we'd have sent them back. Overall, if you have to eat and can't get a table because everywhere else is busy, it's good enough. Grab a quick bite with friends and go. But this isn't a place for date night or a family get together.

The taco tuesday deal here is it, $20 AYCE tacos, even birria tacos. Beats me why people aren’t lining up out the door. My wife and I love this place and the taco Tuesday is always a great treat after work. The tacos are excellent, packed with filling and delicious! Service is always on point too, Kevin A is the best.

This was our first time at the restaurant. Loved the ambiance and the waiter was helpful in deciding what to order. Our tacos were delicious. We will definitely eat at Mission Taco again.

Great experience. Showed up for my reservation my table wasn't quite ready but they knocked it out the park with service. Food was great, good recommendations and server was really nice and attentive.
LOVE THIS PLACE!! The workers are always super super friendly! The bartenders are always fun to talk to and they make GREAT drinks!!! The tacos there are fantastic; definitely recommend the jumbo shrimp tacos. Their fried octopus is phenomenal as well. The atmosphere is fantastic, great songs and very friendly. - im always there! 10/10

What a shame. Have been to this place a year ago numerous times and it was wonderful. We raved about it to everyone. However, our most recent visit left MUCH to be desired.Service:The only good part of the service was the hostess. She was attentive and was happily able to seat us immediately. On the other hand, we physically saw our waiter 3 times the whole night. First red flag was he brought out an extra margarita and charged us for it. Second, our chips and guac took AN HOUR to arrive. I understand that they were busy, but based on other reviews it seems to be a common trend. Additionally, the waiter was very attentive to larger parties rather than smaller parties.Food: We used to love the food here when it was a smaller menu. They expanded the menu which looked very good. When the food arrived, each portion was SO SMALL. However, based on the quality of the food, we did not mind. I did not get the tacos I ordered, and the food left us with stomach pain that led to the following day.Such a shame that a great restaurant took a steep down hill :( Will never be returning back.

We went, a group of seven before a show at the Paramount. We had great service. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Guacamole, and tacos were delicious. Drinks were great too! Friends want to go back already.
