This restaurant is a neighborhood gem! I can't say enough about the delicious, inventive, and flavorful menu! The chef is top notch! Roland is a rare restaurateur that truly appreciates every customer and aims to make the dining experience memorable. The waitstaff are always professional and you can sense their passion. Kate at the bar makes the best skinny margarita! We will continue to return again and again.

Fabulous from start to finish... from the welcome at the front door to the thank you as we were leaving. Professional and friendly waitstaff, enticing menu selections, and beautifully presented truly delicious meals. This was my second visit and I chose it for my 2 friends' birthday celebration dinner because my initial visit was equally impressive. Certainly will be back... and hopefully soon!

We haven't eaten here in a while and decided to try it, so glad we did, upon entering felt very welcomed, was seated immediately and drink order was taken, waiter was wonderful his name was Ross, he explained everything that we questioned with patience, food was delicious, so happy we went here for dinner will definitely be back again soon

Best restaurant EVER!! The owner/ manager Roland is a wonderful person. He really cares about his clientele. He's very hands-on with making sure everything is running perfectly. Their food is absolute perfection ! We have never had a bad meal here .This is a place where you bring people to impress them and know that it's never going to disappoint you. We have rediscovered this place with two recent visits which were both fantastic. Great greeting on entering, fantastic service, and wonderful tasting dishes. Will be back again soon.

Had reservations and was early, was seated immediately. Had drinks, was very good and well made. Appetizer was very good as well as the main course. Dessert was very good, unfortunately they ran out of the sorbet. Overall a great dinner and would come back.

The service was less than desirable for the price, the quality of the food was average, and when the desert was ordered they came back to tell us they did not have the chocolate gelato. The fish special came on a large plate with quite a portion of risotto, and a small piece of fish for $43, highly over priced. For a party of 2 and a $200 bill, there are much better options.

We have been dining at Piccolo Mundo for several years, and we always love the experience. The owner is extremely hospitable. The staff is excellent and we love the ambiance. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality Italian food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Not only is the food here amazing, but the service is impeccable. We love everyone who works here, Roland is so accommodating, and we always leave feeling like we had a great dining experience. The way that they prepare their branzino here is probably my favorite fish dish on LI. The octopus is incredible, and the eggplant Parmesan melts in your mouth. My husband and I consider Piccolo to be one of our favorite spots in the area ?

Time and time again food is excellent. Mussels and pasta bolognese are our favorites. Fish dishes always fresh and prepared as on menu or as you wish. Service and staff including Kate, Roman and Amanda are both professional and friendly. They create a warm and comfortable environment to enjoy the delicious food served in the restaurant. Excellent Happy Hour as well. We have never had anything we did not enjoy and are always looking forward to our next visit.

First time at this restaurant and I have nothing but great things to say. Quaint dining room. Service top notch and of course the food was amazing. Our favorites were the artichoke app, the chicken Piccolo and the Lobster Tagliatelle. Can’t wait to go back!
