Best Pizza around. Excellent menu and wine list. Since Joe took over and changed the name, this is a must-visit restaurant. Also great for private events and large family parties.

Recently sold to one of the partners, Joe. Had a delicious meal and noticed it was much better than before. Came to pay I had a gift card which he was kind enough to come over and say that it was under a different name since it was sold but he was going to honor it. Smart businessman the place has definitely improved under his ownership wish him the best of luck

So I went into this place. They had two slices of pizza on a platter that looks like they have been out for a week. I ask the kid with the long hair behind the counter. If I could wait for a fresh house pie, he said no that’s all we got right now… Absolutely disgusting who treats a customer that way I don’t think I missed out on anything probably his gross hair in my pizza photo attached

Me and my fiancé just had our engagement party here & I will say it was amazing ! They are amazing, our families love the food (we have serious picky eaters) & the service was great !! I wish I remembered our waitresses name she was awesome considering she was handling 14 people ! Will the night before was helping us so much and he’s so polite and a helpful man ! Joe the manager is always doing awesome & loved everything ! The prices were beyond reasonable & definitely would go to them again for another party ! My fiancés family so far had 2 parties with them ! I highly recommend coming here and having parties here ! Look how cute it was when they designed our menu ? Thank you to ALL the staff who took care of all of us on Sunday, we loved it !

Had been there numerous times before new ownership. Went last night (new owners) . Sat night with party of 4. Not too crowded. From the sec you walk in underwhelming welcome. Hostes looks miserable. Doesn't even welcome you. Just says how many.. Staff all looks like zombies. We were Seated. At least 12 min before anyone even comes over to table. Few people came by then. Water bread etc.. No smile no hello nothing . Finally guy takes order.. He was ok at best. First forgot lemons never brought side dish . Not that hard. Honestly food is ok to slightly above avg.. Vibe and service below. With so many others out there (see Sal Ds) as a model for a restaurant vibe.. I'd only go back as last resort. Some improvements could bring them back. P. S. Returned next day to tell about them forgetting side (as we forgot too).. Kinda questioned me but gave it (thanks) and of course.. No apology.

Very tasty , dont be afraid to ask for extra sauce on any slices . must be a good chef, right ? A slow afternoon for them and a lot of traffic , plus an inviting, charming ,,,,can I say it ? Ambiance, inside and out. Glad I ducked out of traffic. What a beautiful fall day on 25 A. And what a best kept secret for the rest of us silly commuters. Wed. 10/12/22.

It's a shame. After new management took over it's been awful. Meatballs are different and pretty lame. Sauce is bland. Garlic knots are now very doughy and greasy, and I could go on and on. It's hard to believe that every phone or online order (every one-no exaggeration) is wrong in some way OR I show up and they never even put in the order. After six years of living up the road and having it be our favorite restaurant we are never going back. Also, I think it's great that they employ so many young kids, but some responsibilities are just too important for them to handle. We gave them about ten chances but we are done. What a shame. Just go to Portofino in the village and you'll be taken care of.

My daughter and I had a fun day at the local Planetarium here and we. I visited several local establishments near by. We were about to have our first Mom-daughter dinner without the guys and this turned out to be such a disappointment. First my daughter ordered a drink (orange juice) She spilled all of it, I was irritated with her but, the server never brought out another one nor did he take her empty glass away. When our food arrived, we ordered the antipasto platter, it looked like old deli meat that had been pre-sliced and left mixed together. Literally the meats were greying and browning. It was so embarrassing that we could be served a dish clearly meant to be presented on a board in such a gross way. See the pic. I just tried the olive, one of the pinker salamis and proceeded to gag. My daughter loves cheese, she said whatever that was was so stinky. I tried a bit and it was super funky provolone, not fresh, it had been set out to funkify, we consume Italian sandwiches often and provolone is always stocked in my fridge. This was just not even good quality meat and cheese. Ok maybe the board is off let's look forward to the dinner... I got the mozzarella and arugula salad, it was straightforward seemed fresh enough and plain/bland but fine. I got the small and it was fairly big for me so good portions. I was happy with it. My daughter ordered the stuffed rigatoni, looked fine, after her first bite she says, Mom there's a bug in my food. I look over and I say no it's probably black pepper. She says, mom it's got legs! She starts gagging and I slide the plate over. I pick it out to the side of the dish and sure enough it's got legs, It was in the sauce under the parmesan! Yuck! So so gross. We were both so disgusted, I pointed it out to the server and while he offered to make us another. After the state of the antipasto board then the pasta, I couldn't stomach eating anything else here. Neither could my daughter. I told them we were done and wanted the bill, he asked if he could wrap the food for me and I declined. When I got the bill he wanted to charge me for her orange juice and I get it she spilled it but after the awful experience I really didn't want to pay for anything we didn't even taste. He had wrapped up the antipasto for me, but we tossed it as soon as we left. I want to say, this was just a bad day for us there, kinda ruined a wonderful day I spent with my daughter, wish we had just gotten a slice and left but Oh well. The servers are young, friendly enough, I felt bad but, this was just a bad experience food wise for us. I wish them well, to l have better quality control over what leaves the kitchen, but we would not recommend not return here.

These people own intermezzo and this restaurant. We have been to intermezzo and had the worst service ever and bad food and been so disappointed, we vowed to never go there again. We went to Primo piatto not realizing that they also owned this restaurant. We sat and asked for a bottle of Pellegrino 10 minutes later a waiter came to our table and I asked again and he said yeah it’s coming and we ordered another drink another 10 minutes later still no drinks at all we walked out. This place doesn’t seem to be run by anybody there’s no manager headwaiter, nobody seems to care and the food is mediocre at best. So spend your money somewhere better.

I’ve read great reviews hence was curious to come. I liked the vibe, pretty relaxed. Great drinks and wine menu. We ordered Burrata, Beets Salad and Filet Mignon. Salads were ok and filet mignon was not very tasty. Service was great. We had to come back to taste the pastas and pizza that perhaps is a better option here.

We just had our daughter’s wedding shower at Primo Piatto and could not be happier. All of our guests raved about the wonderful staff and fantastic food. The staff was polite and very attentive to everyone there. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone having an event or if you just want to go out for a meal. Great atmosphere also.

Quality, cleanliness, polite wait staff, and most of all a vast and delicious menu to choose from.We visited from out of state and we're pleasantly surprised!

I always drive by Primo Piatto and finally decided to pop in. I sat outside because it was a beautiful night. I was greeted by my super friendly server Alex. She was a complete doll and very nice. I started with a glass of Chardonnay (perfect temp) and baked clams. Alex kept checking on me and to ensure I was doing okay. The baked clams were a very generous portion and tasty. My entree I went with one of their specials the frutti di mar and it was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. I would definitely return, I enjoyed my time there.
