We stepped away from the hectic streets of Sleepy Hollow into the peaceful space of Mambo Italiano and what a great choice that was! The bread, the pasta, the dessert; all of it was clearly made with love, and from scratch. It was all so delicious and our waitress was kind and knowledgeable about the food. I would highly recommend stopping by for a very delicious bit of food.

Excellent food and service. The Honey Ricotta was great and so was the homemade pasta.

Delicious and Delectable. Danielle and Anna have captured the essence and beauty of Naples Italy and brought it to the town of Irvington NY. The Cesar salad may have been the best most creative and perfectly balanced with texture and layers of flavor. The baby raviolis in a marinara sauce were like eating fluffy flavorful pillows. The Margherita flat bread was hardly flat in fact it was one of the most incredible pizza doughs that has ever crossed my lips. The imported flour that Dani buys is unparalleled to the inferior quality that most American pizza joints use. Mambo has been open for a few years and I am so lucky that I finally found a place that I could have my last supper at. I will return to eat the rest of the menu. Bon Apetito.

Had dinner there tonight and it was great. The freshly baked bread was served hot and was great. The burrata was delicious. My kids devoured the kids linguini and tortellini, and don’t usually eat much. We didn’t get the gelato but saw others with it and it looked incredible. Would definitely come back. Quick and friendly service.

This place was AMAZING!!!! The owners were kind, gracious, and my God the food!!! Chef's Kiss
Love this spot so much! Came here on the way back from Nyack and got a table outside. Delicious homemade pastas made with love. Adored the mushroom-sage-butter homemade tagliatelle the most, though the lasagna was pretty good, very meaty. The desserts are off-the-charts! So tasty and creative. Loved the pavlova with strawberry sorbet and the rich pistachio ice cream. Delicious warm bread basket with sun-dried tomato butter, too. Shoutout to Ana who is so warm and had great recommendations, welcome to us and our dog! We even made friends with another diner at the restaurant and hung out together on the rainy night. Telling everybody about this place.

I’m very picky when it comes to Italian food but this place is amazing. From the bread basket to the salad to the pasta to the wine to the dessert. Left so happy and so satisfied. Everything was just fantastic!

The environment is a bit warm — if it’s like this in the summer, we’ll probably be sweating buckets. The service is very good. The wine list is a bit pricey — a glass of Italian table wine that sells for $30 a bottle is $14 here. It’s more cost-effective to get a whole bottle if you’re with a group. The dishes are plentiful and come in large portions. The polenta with pork used to come with mushrooms, but not anymore. That said, the flavorful meat is still very satisfying — you really need wine with it, or it’s hard to digest. The mini bread rolls are great; the butter mixed with tomato sauce tastes a bit like Thousand Island dressing. We also asked for olive oil.

We had a weekend retreat in the region and were looking for a place for a late lunch. We came to Mambo Italiano because of its high rank of google review. It did not disappoint us. We shared a basket of warm bread, a chicken scarpariello, roasted pork sliders and fettuccine with meatballs. The ingredients are simple and tasty, exactly as they advertised on their website. Everybody in the family enjoyed the meal. I finished the meal with a cup of espresso. It was amazingly satisfactory.
