El trigal is you're typical Jackson heights Colombian bakery with buffet style plated food. The service is great where you have amazing woman serve you the food you pick. The food is very inexpensive but around the area of Jackson heights it's rather cheap. The food is okay, and the dinning area is okay also. There are better places to eat. With that said, they get a 3 start based on the food, and service combined.
The Colombian food here is some of the best. Steak (carne asada) with the arepa and cheese (arepa con queso) is my favorite. The empanadas are excellent as well. Very small place. like 6 tables.

Le doy 5 estrellas porque a mi mamita de 86 años le gusta mucho la comida del Trigal. Siempre preparan las sopitas como a ella le gusta. El sazón de ellos es sencillo y genial, ni mucho, ni poco, apenas para darle un buen gusto. También son muy buena gente y decentes. Siempre se escucha la estación de radio Cristiana en ingles. Se siente bien estar allí para desayuno, almuerzo o cena. Siempre somos muy bien atendidos.
