A Thai place that my friends and I visited in Queens. We ordered Thai Fried Rice, Green Curry, Pad See Ew, and Pad Kee Mao (all of them were $15 w/ chicken). This place tasted really authentic as there was so much flavor in all the dishes. Furthermore, they adjusted the spice level very well according to our requests. The service was a bit slow in the beginning, but got better near the end. The only downside is the mandatory 20% gratuity for parties of 5+. Other than that, $15 for an entree is value. Overall, I would rate this place a 9/10 - amazing food for amazing prices.

Very attentive and helpful. Their food was really good. Their green Thai tea was exceptional! Really loved my time here. I definitely would recommend.

Iced Thai coffee was yummy and sweet - the beef stew noodles were just alright. Nice atmosphere and the restaurant filled up pretty quickly.

My family and I went there today for lunch, we sat down, and the server was so rude! It's not the first time my husband, baby and I went and we never had a problem. But today we had to leave. The server was so mean, telling us that it wasn't ok to have the stroller by the side of our table (our baby was sleeping inside the stroller). I asked him if we can have another table so we don't bother anybody. He reacted with a nasty expression and said, "No, you are there already." The place wasn't even busy and this server was giving us such a negative attitude about our stroller taking up too much space! This server was so mean and was so offensive, my husband and I decided to just leave.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years. But it’s not affordable to order from you anymore. Even lunch special comes out to $17 + $7 drink = $24 for one person, dinner $32?$1 for a tiny half fill 0.5 oz container of dipping sauce / please fill it all the way.

We liked it! The Khao Soi is a little different than I'm used to. It had more spices, a bit less creamy. My DC had the Duck Tamarind, he said it was very good. I'll keep it in mind the next time we're up for Thai. I want to try the Green Curry, and the soft shell crab.

I have been a customer since I was very young so it’s really sad to write this review. I gave so much of my money to this business and it’s just sad. I remember receiving many plates with mold on the food mold on the vegetables, feces on shrimp, But now it’s gotten to a point where I have to say something. it’s not even affordable at all, I honestly don’t even know who keeps coming here. The appetizers are delicious but i am sure you can buy them in supermarket and make it yourself for much cheaper. The food and beverage is overpriced like this was Manhattan and it’s absurd. The family doesn’t even recognize me that I have been the same person walking in and out of that restaurant for years they still overcharge me on a simple sauce $1 for a REALLY tiny container. Idk what happened to you guys but I hope you get better and start with improving prices.

I've ordered from Kitchen 79 a bunch of times, as I work in Jackson Heights. I'm a big fan of their lunch specials. The prices are fair and the portions are a decent size. My go-to's are the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Fried Rice. Each dish has really great flavors. The lunch specials also come with an appetizer. We normally get a spring roll and a crab rangoon. The prices are fair and the serving sizes are pretty average. Overall, it's always a very good lunch.
