I was visiting NY. We found this place by chance, the food was not the best. The salty rice to my taste, the service too. Little importance to the customer, they don't even ask you if everything is okay or if you want the bill. We had to get up to pay at the cash register and they included the charge for the tips. I honestly do not recommend this place to anyone. If you are visiting Queens NY, avoid the hassle ?

I was on vacation in New York, I went to this place because it was recommended to me, I arrived at 10 because Google says that they close at 11 and I went in and the employees told me that it was already closed, that they close at 10! They should fix their time on Google if they don't actually close at that time, because here you don't waste your time going to the place!!

I ordered a delivery. I waited more than an hour and it didn't arrive, I called 3 times and in each call they told me to wait because it was on its way, and nothing…. On the last call I chose to cancel the order. What a shame that they have such terrible and lousy service.

I have always been going to eat for years, but today I called to ask for a delivery at 7pm of a grilled chicken and it never arrived. An hour after calling they said that he had already left and was on his way, that they were going to call me back and they didn't call. Half an hour later they told me again that they would call me back and when I called for the third time at 9pm they told me THAT THE DELIVERY WAS CAUGHT BY THE POLICE but that the chicken would arrive in 8 minutes. The annoying thing is that every time they tell you that they will call you back and leave you waiting. Terrible service

The food is Peruvian based on the recipes, but the rest is not... I also requested a chicken stir-fry and asked for chili and lemon for taste, but they said they couldn't give me lemon, since it doesn't go with anything, only the soup. ... orders from the owners they said... that's why I hesitate to return... as a Peruvian, it annoys us that they use the name of the country to sell and don't really know our tastes...

Service was terrible. We had to ask many times for our food, which was a simple order to even be brought out. Our coffee was delivered after the food, which took more than 20 minutes to come out. And then we still had to ask for our water.The restaurant sort of actively encourages beggers to walk table to table which just felt odd and awkward. The first of which was an old man with a little speaker who stood at the front and mumbled loudly some Spanish song and then walked table to table asking for money before leaving. A few minutes later a man and his crying little boy walked in and went table to take offering single sticks of gum and asking for money (this was heartbreaking but felt very out of place to allow this to go on repeatedly in your own restaurant to your seated diners).I will say my pan con chicharron was quite good. However our soup came cold and we had to ask for it to go be heated more. It was very good when it came back.Overall we felt like we were being ignored as many tables were seated, ordered after us but many received their drinks and food promptly before us. The repeated explanation was she forgot each time.And finally they snuck in auto gratuity of 15% percent to the bill before I still tipped the customary 20%. I know that's my fault for not checking but we were just a table of two ordering a light lunch with a coffee.I left with a negative feeling about my experience and won't be returning. I really don't like leaving negative reviews. I know how hard the restaurant business is and I'm hoping this was just an off day for them. From start to finish, though, this was a disappointing experience for a true Peruvian restaurant I was very excited to try.
