Excellent bagels. Good size, great taste. Particularly liked the cinnamon raisin toasted with butter. My wife really enjoyed the cream cheese bagel. Negative reviews mentioned poor service but we had a fine experience. In any case, the taste alone is good enough to warrant a visit. Highly recommend.

I worked here for a year and had to deal with the owners curse at me call me out of my name and even racial slurs which did affect my customer service. The place is filthy and they don’t have an organized structure when it comes to dealing with customers and serving them which is why everything takes so long and is poor quality everything is such a mess. Oh and they sell expired food and try to clean it up so it looks appealing when they should just make more smh

The manager is very disrespectful and I am appealed at his tone of voice and his reactions toward me even though I asked a simple question which was Do you ask to see EVERYONE’S vaccine card? Being that it is policy. They asked to see my card(black female) and I didn’t mind showing them yet two other Caucasian customers came in the manager didn’t ask them so that’s why I asked. The manager got so loud telling me that’s the wrong question to ask talking about me in his language to the other customers. I felt so uncomfortable and disrespected that I couldn’t even stay in eat my food he kept going on and on. I wish I would have got my money back because for all I know they could have spit in it when they took it to the back for me to take it to go. As a customer we should all feel comfortable knowing we are surrounded by other customers who’s been vaccinated. He claimed they were regular customers so he knew they were but he could have said that to me in a calm respectful manner and not try to insult me for asking.

I never take the time to write reviews howeverOrdered 3 everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese today along with some dessert as they looked really good and homemadeNapoleonPlain cheesecakeStrawberry cheesecakeUpon sitting to eat the strawberry cheesecake took my first bite and it seemed off upon breaking into the cheesecake further I noticed there was mold growing. I had gotten the other 2 for my husband and daughter thank god I noticed this before they ate it. This is a pretty popular bagel spot but I Feel they are not serving anything fresh. The service was very slow, been to bagel stores before and usually breakfast spots are quick to at least take the order. The bagels tasted good but now I’m skeptical whether the cream cheese and other items were expired.See pictures below of expired cheesecake with mold can’t believe I took a bite of that.

Bagel and scallion cream cheese was pretty good. The bagel tasted fresh and soft. Cream cheese was alright Flavor wise, ok. Service was great. Plenty of dine in tables. Prices were extremely expensive for just a bagel and a drink.($8) street parking only.

I have been coming to bagels and cream since I was a kid and I must say in the last couple of years this place really lost its energy. The employees are not as joyful and happy to see the customers and work with them, the place is not clean, and the service is not how it used to be. I should also mention that the quality of the bagels have not been as good as they used to. They have made A lot of cutbacks with there packaging For example they use paper cups for iced coffee because they don’t have the plastic cups they don’t give you plates on the side they don’t give you enough napkins and they look at you funny when you ask them for extra salt catchup or pepper. I think it’s time for someone to take over this place and make it a better bagel place for all of Union Turnpike
