After traveling for 20 hours, all I wanted was something tasty and a couple of big orange gator-aids to cure my dehydration. I got it here. I had the BLT wrap, and it was enough for two meals. Nice servers. I was happy.

The bartender Jereen was always there when I needed a drink. She was friendly which is always nice when traveling for work.

I don't even want to give this restaurant a star. I was told by the Holiday Inn staff that the food was good here so being that I am spending the night at the hotel I figured I'd save myself a drive and eat here. BIG MISTAKE!! I ordered some buffalo wings and a bacon burger (medium well). The food arrived roughly 10 minutes later which wasn't bad, that is until I attempted to eat the food. I started with the wings. The outside felt warm as I grabbed them but as I bit into them they were cold as if they had just come out of the fridge. I decided to go to the burger which I asked to come without the bun which they did prepare it that way for me. I cut into the burger and it was raw, chargrilled on the outside but completely raw inside. I waited for one of the waitresses to come over so that I could show her and possibly get it cooked properly but it seemed like they were too distracted by their cellphones. I waited approximately 15 minute and finally had to get her attention to show her. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I cannot offer a review of the food here but this is the first time I have ever gone to a restaurant in a hotel that I had to leave because they did not have any of the three main courses that I asked for. And that is after the waitress recommended the pork chops. And I was the only customer in the place. I can't help but feel that I dodged a bullet here.

This place should be ashamed of themselves. The bar was dirty and sticky. The two waitresses on staff couldn't have cared less about us and said less than 3 words to us. We hadn't had dinner so we sucked it up and just got appetizers - terrible! The chicken tenders were barely cooked. This place is a joke. We left and went to Applebee's down the road... at least there the restaurant staff pretended to be happy to have customers... :|

Staying at the Holiday Inn the night before flying to Bermuda for Valentine's Day and we gotta eat right? Why not try this place out? The front desk also gave us some drink vouchers so we appreciated those as well. Here's how things went! Atmosphere/Appearance: "Lol". I'll lead with that. This place just feels like it was here JUST to say to have a restaurant inside. It was plain and tastefully decorated with Valentine's Day stuff. The bar is off to the left side and the dining room to the right, but who wants to hang out in there?! To the bar we go! It wasn't very busy and was quite quiet, but we didn't mind. Service: Karina was taking care of the whole restaurant (all of like 8 people) and Sharon was behind the bar. They were both awesome and because they seemed bored, took extra good care of us. Lol. Food: I went with the Chicken Club. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was. Chicken was juicy, bacon was crispy and the wheat bread was deliciously buttery. My sandwich was accompanied by sweet potato fries which were a great complement to the club. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised, but that goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover. Value: You know how hotel food prices are inflated, especially near an airport, but that's not quite the case here. My sandwich with 2 sides was $13.95 and my fiancée's Chicken Fajita Wrap (along with sides) was only $11.95. Not too shabby! Hey, I'd eat here again for sure. If Karina and Sharon are there it'll be a party! It beats fast food and having to get in your car to drive somewhere! Lol.

Where to begin? We were told the place would open at 4pm. Around 4:20, someone unlocked the ramshackle wood door that looked like it was replacing a missing sliding glass door. We noticed an "A" sanitation rating posted on the remaining glass while we were waiting, so that helped to inspire us to give the place a try despite the broken door and the sign warning us that their credit card machine was broken and they were only accepting cash or you could charge it to your room. We ordered the fried calamari. The marinara sauce was quite good but the calamari was greasy and unevenly cooked. The thin tentacles were over-cooked (tough) but the rings were more tender, and there seemed to be mostly tentacles stuck together. Crazy me ordered fish and chips, asking to substitute sweet potato fries for the regular fries. So much more grease! And the fish appeared with regular fries so I had to ask again for the sweet potato fries. They were actually good! The fish looked like a frozen fish product - nothing special. The coleslaw tasted strange. I couldn't eat it. My husband ordered the cheese ravioli. It was pretty good until he pulled out a 4" strand of hair..."A" sanitation rating? We will not be returning.

Very relaxing atmosphere. We came for a quick bite after a meeting and ended up staying for Karaoke. Nice mixed crowd of tourists and neighborhood folks. I had the calamari and was surprised how good it was. Fried to perfection....very tasty and not oily at all.

While staying at the Holiday Inn, I ate here once for breakfast and once for dinner. Staff was nice, but the food is mediocre. The breakfast potatoes seemed old. I had a burger for dinner that was dripping with grease. Just ok.

I also found the diner type restaurant on premises of the Holiday Inn JFK Airport in Jamaica/Queens very good, the food of high quality + careful preparation, with many, many choices. This was great as with an airport hotel, there are no choices of other restaurants in walking distance, for those guests without cars. I was also particularly pleased with the hours of this eatery 6:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Breakfast is served daily until 11:30 a.m., a great and welcome improvement over the usual 9:30 or 10:00 a.m., especially for "night people" and vacationers. There are many sandwiches, deli and otherwise, soups, appetizers, salads, fish, grilled meat, chicken, pizza and pasta dishes. Vinny did not disappoint. The only faux-pas I ran into was in ordering Rigatoni Alla Vodka, described as having: Diced Shallots, Prosciutto, + Vodka in a Pink Cream Sauce ($16.95 - not exactly reasonably-priced). Without a word of explanation I was served a plate of rigatoni pasta in a marinara sauce - not one ingredient as described! I turned it away, to be told that there was no Prosciutto in stock. How about all the other ingredients??? This is inexcusable, not to have been advised, in the hopes that I would not know the difference??? I had also ordered NY Cheesecake, served with Fresh Strawberries (per menu) another evening and was advised there were no strawberries. I would thus conclude that whoever is in charge of stocking the kitchen is amiss and perhaps servers should be trained to advise customers if an item ordered is missing its described ingredients, rather than creating ill-will. Service and staff are very friendly, atmosphere homey and relaxed, with plenty of newspapers to keep you company and make you feel welcome to stay a while. You will need to wait and relax as all is prepared to order, not in advance. And what could be wrong with that?
