Outstanding soul food at a local deli. Jerk chicken here is as good as any jerk spot I've found around NYC. Chicken was juicy, fell right of the bone, and a had beautiful smoke ring. A plate with two sides was only $12. Good neighborhood vibes here. Service was super friendly and quick. We need more locally owned community oriented businesses like this.

Still da bomb after all these years. These workers are soldiers. I ordered pastrami and cheddar cheese hero with lettuce tomato and another Sausalito turkey and Asiago cheese hero and a chopped cheese hero. First of all, their bread is always soft and fresh. Top grade cold cuts to die for. Their menu is so varied and complete. The sandwiches were great ad well as the fries. All kinds of beverages are available. You cannot beat it!!! They are always courteous and listen carefully to each order. The people who make the food are on point. This deli is a pillar of the community. I've been ordering food for many years. They are still great! It gets busy with two public schools down the block. But....well worth it!! Their vast selection is phenomenal! Bravo!!!

my fifth time ordering a hero, and still disappointed, i ask for mayonnaise and mustard. but my bread still dry, ask for turkey with cheese, and got one layer of both . it was all bread one slice of cheese, and one layer of turkey. i had more tomato than any thing else.

The quality of the food here has gone down, they hardly put chicken in my sandwich, the sandwich was cold (was waiting for 10mins), the cheese wasn't even melted and it taste stale. I guess covid ruined a lot but the deli workers here are getting very lazy and sloppy with their preparation of meals.

I feel like everyone hype this deli up but every time I get a sandwich here it's never good. They just throw anything together. This the third time they messed up my sandwich. Never again! Go to the deli by farmers and linden across from the gas station. Their sandwiches taste way better.

You can't go to New York and not have food at any deli. They have so many choices which you will get more bang for your buck. If you haven't had a chopped cheeseburger sandwich then you are definitely missing out. Go to Hollis deli if you are nearby and ask for it. Let me know what you think about the deli sandwiches that are superior to any chain sandwich places.

The best deli !!!!Because this is not my corner bodega I go here for very specific things. BLT, Philly cheese steak on a roll with everything on it, and of course the half and half. "Everything" includes lettuce tomato salt pepper oil vinegar ! On both sandwiches! You might have to wait a few minutes- or 20 but I promise it's worth it. You can also call your order in. Don't forget to take a half and half to go too because you'll be done before you get home!
Hollis Deli definitely has an Elite Chopped Cheese sandwich. Its well seasoned with everything on it including salt, pepper, onions, ketchup and mayo. I always call in my order ahead of time. Their fries aren't my favorite, I wish they had curly fries but nevertheless the food is good.

The prices are really reasonable. For some things I pay 50% less then other stores. It's a new management so they value listen their customer needs. I suggested them to change a couple of things and really saw the change by my next visit.I really like their Garlic knots ..
