I had a ton of time to eat due to a delayed flight, decided to give this place a try. Ordered one of the signature cocktails, a double Absolut and Cranberry, and the Fish & Chips "kicked up". Total was around $54 for that.... Drinks were okay, but the food was an absolute joke. Plate was greasy and oily, the fish looked like grade school cafeteria food. They didn't have tartar sauce, just ranch dressing and a brownish green "avocado crema". Asked for more of the seasoning for the fries since there wasn't any there, and was handed a side of oil and cheese. $17~ for this disappointment alone. Ate the food despite it being a grease pit, and not that much to my surprise - I am on day 3 of food poisoning..... Avoid this over priced trap unless you want to get sick

I wasn't expecting much but the tacos here are amazingly good. Each of us picked a different meat and two tacos was more than enough. 3 people 3 orders of tacos, 2 tall beers... $70

Can I give them a negative star? The customer service was terrible! Our food never came after 45 minutes of waiting, we asked for our check. Our waitress was rude and did not communicate ANY issues with our food or the wait time with us. She stopped coming to our table so when we went to go find her and ask for the check, she told someone from our group "okay, go sit down now" under her breath. We requested the manger and she never sent him. We asked for the manager from another server and he showed up but he said she did not communicate that our food never came out with him. No apologies, no communication on status of anything. We will never return here... Ps chicken nachos $16.99, "alcoholic" drink $16.79 (not worth it)

A beach bar in Vegas? Staff was interesting. Food was decent. When you need a meal, and you have to eat at the airport before you fly in late to your next destination. Not an awful place...it works, since you don't have many options.

I had the Impossible burger - all vegan and all good. If you are vegan though you'll have to skip the bun as it has dairy (also the cheese but you'd already do that). It was cooked well and it was flavorful as it always is. The service was outstanding from the server - she was prompt, friendly, quick to answer questions and bring items, and generally very competent. It was busy but not swamped (but the Vegas airport is a chaotic mess IMHO) and I was in and out in 25 minutes. I would absolutely come back and have another of these burgers. The fries were bland and kind of not so great so I removed a star as it is part of the meal and I'd skip it next time.

Our first time here found us seated at the bar, with John as our server. His excellent sense of humor and quick service made for a great experience. Granted, it was crowded, but the cold Bud, delicious Cab, and yummy nachos made the wait for the flight almost enjoyable!

Its an airport restaurant reminiscent of when the expectations for airport restaurants were very low. The space is relatively small, with most seating at communal tables. There are a few small tables for 2. I ordered the impossible burger with grilled onions and mushrooms, which was actually pretty good. Accompanying fries were limp and lukewarm. For an airport restaurant, the service was rather slow. On the positive side our server was very pleasant. I would go back, but without much enthusiasm.

For a terminal restaurant, this place has been overall a good spot for service and pretty good food. I usually grab a spot at the bar for faster service, and typically this place is pretty busy anyways. Breakfast is a decent portion, and the service has always been really good. The downfall for this place is it is pricey for what it is.

Breakfast burrito was delicious, outside of the fatty bacon in it. We ate at the bar, usually quicker service. Unfortunately my drink ran dry for awhile.

I should know better than to eat at Sammy's Beach Bar because every time I have all I have been is disappointed. We were flying home from Las Vegas last weekend and based on hunger and proximity to our gate we decided to eat here. Be forewarned if you have kids you cannot sit in the main area which they consider a bar. So good for us our kids are older and we sat in the other area up from the bar area separate based on the super limited seating in this area. The service was very good and our server Lisa was super friendly and which earned them the 2 stars from me. Just like any airport restaurant he food was severely sub par and the drinks where very expensive. I got the burger and this was one of the most bland burgers I have had. You can tell that the patties are processed and really lacked any flavor at all. I also ordered my fries "kicked up" which consisted tossed in some cayenne and some sauce on them. What I got was super soggy fries that were not even very good. My wife had the pulled pork sliders and while these were just ok were completely dry. Overall very disappointing and won't be back.

I'd like to give Sammy's two stars, given it at least has seating, while both Southwest and McCarran are content to allow the rest of this garbage terminal to have half the patrons sitting on the floor, but I've simply never had a good experience here so I can't bring myself to do it. It's always busy, which should be easy to plan for if a condition always exists, but they don't, so service is going to be slow and bad. The food is mediocre at best. The drinks, which is what really gets me, are very expensive and weak. Seriously, Sammy may want to take his name off this place. If you want a far better margarita, that isn't weaksauce, go down to Jose Cuervo Tequileria in the same terminal; it will still be as expensive as heck, but will taste proper and be strong.

Decided to have a quick bite to eat during my pitstop in Las Vegas. Sammy Beach Bar is located right by gate C24 at Terminal C. Atmosphere: Packed restaurant with ton of people coming in and out. This place has open seating so feel free to sit wherever you like. Service was fast considered how busy they were the day after the Super Bowl. Food: I went with the Chicken tacos with french fries and surprisingly the were quite good. The taco were nicely seasoned and definitely have my approval. The fries were also great without the usual deep fryer taste. Verdict 4 stars I'll be back. Enjoy and bon appetite. Sorry for not posting any pictures.
