Edelweiss was recommended by my Uncle and they didn't disappoint! We live about 40 minutes west of Kings Park but it was well worth the trip. Their food was spectacular!!! We requests that they cater a large menu of German food and every dish was excellent. Even the cold Cucumber Salad was awesome. Who thought you could make cucumber salad so special and so good. Excellent Delicatessen! I've been going here since they opened and love the food. The quality is consistently superb. My side favorite is the cucumber salad. It's amazing how they have been able to keep providing such wonderful service even during the most trying of times. Thank you to all the staff and the owners!
One of my favorite delis on the island. Sandwiches are the best, on hero, rye, w/e. Don't sleep in the frozen German dinners. They are a busy moms best friend. Plus, they're so good. Bratwurst, sauerbraten, and jaeger schnitzel are the best you'll get without having your oma make it. And... I ordered my thanksgiving pie this year. It was the clear winner!
