I've never been to this place but someone brought their lemon tart to a party at our house. Holy cow, one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life. Moist, tart, creamy, sweet--this thing had it all! Anyone who can make a lemon tart like this must have something on the ball.

We met this baker at the Grieg Farm Farmer's Market in Red Hook, NY today. We immediately knew from his display that he was a great pastry chef. I was hungry for breakfast and noticed his two beautiful quiches. He was nice enough to cut one up and sell me just one piece. To make it up, I also purchased an individual carrot cake. All for $7. We ate it in the car and both were THE BEST!!! The quiche was rich and full of great ingredients with a lovely crust. The carrot cake was not too sweet and delicious- the kind you could keep eating and eating - with a nice frosting, again not too sweet, just perfect. I'll definitely order a carrot cake from him!
