This business is the most unprofessional I have encountered in the area. I walked in and was ignored by all members of staff. It doesn't take much to guess why. Never again!

I've been using Jules vision for over 30 years and have always been satisfied with their service, Reading all these negative reviews really surprised me. The front desk staff has always been helpful and personable. I haven't used the optometrist in over a decade but my retired ophthalmologist recommended the optometrist there.

My husband has been a customer for a long time and has been happy with the exams and glasses he got at Jules. He recently had cataract surgery and needed new glasses, and we brought the prescription to Jules for his new glasses. Unfortunately, the frames he picked out broke in less than a month, and we had to go back to get them replaced. The woman who took care of us was terrific as usual, she said they had problems with that frame and helped us pick out a new one. She was able to have the lenses put in the new frame while we waited, and then explained that they would need to order new lenses to fit the new frames since they were not a perfect fit, but it would work in the meantime. She even gave us a discount on the new frames, as well as full credit from the broken ones, all without us having to ask for it. It's nice to see great customer service still exists!

Went in for new glasses. They pitched these unbreakable ones so I got the hubby those unbreakable glasses. Sounded like an amazing idea...They ended up snapping in half on the nose bridge within a few months while he was simply wiping the lenses off. Called the kingston office and spoke to them, glasses were under warranty still but discontinued. Then played phone tag for 6 months, finally we were told that they would put the lenses in another pair similar to the defective pair... brought the glasses down and it's been many more months since... they still have not made good on their end nor do they return phone calls. When I continue to call and speak with someone I'm told the manager will have to call us back and they just don't.

I don't like to write negative reviews, but this place was absolutely awful. They took 2-1/2 weeks to fill an eyeglass prescription and then they got it wrong twice. First they made me sunglasses, then they used the wrong color tint - grey instead of purple. They had a million and one excuses but did not feel it necessary to fix the order, which was WAY over-priced at $450 for JUST the lenses, no frames. They also made it very difficult to order contact lenses, taking 2 weeks to get the lenses in, then it was the WRONG brand, taking another ten days to get the correct brand -- again, it was the wrong brand. I had asked for Bio Infinity but they gave me Bio Medics. They finally released my contact lense prescription which was also WRONG. Their optometrist wrote the prescription with the wrong Brand yet again, and forgot to write the 'minus sign' in front of the Cylindrical reading of the left eye.... I know this because there is no positive number offered in this column for my prescription. Very bad experience. They used to at least be reasonably priced but no longer the case. Take your business elsewhere.

A great place doctor and staff are great very helpful friendly I broke my glasses the repaired them I been going to them for sometime now and now my wife goes she like them
The two women that work there are disgusting and they’re liars they work on the weekdays and weekends they are always there. One is a bully and the others is a follower. They don’t know when the post office is open or closed they’re very nasty they refuse to give me my daughters glasses and admit to their incompetence instead they were extremely rude and started yelling on the phone. I suggest you go else where for yourself and your children. Obviously they don’t care about themselves and didn’t care about their jobs or how they sounded and or looked it was disgusting.

The doctor went above and beyond. I showed up late and upset from another dr appointment. He still made the time to see me. He was extremely thorough and patient. I didn’t feel rushed at all. He was considerate and informative. He explained everything as he was doing it in great detail and was surprisingly knowledgeable about other medical conditions I’ve been diagnosed with. I came in panicked about my eyesight and he was genuinely compassionate and put me at ease. Every time I’ve gone to this office him and the staff have been great but this particular appointment really surpassed my expectations.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This establishment is low budget and very unprofessional. I have been a patient for 15 years with a good experience but clearly things have gone DOWN HILL. When I called basically pleading for trial contact lenses to hold me over because the ones I were wearing were old, explaining I literally was having trouble seeing to drive.. the clerk told me “no” and said I needed to wait 2 weeks for an exam. When I told her this was a dangerous situation as I could not see and insisted on speaking to the doctor I was also told “no” and then the clerk who worked the counter hung up on me. When I tried calling back they would not pick up. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I’m astonished and will be taking my business elsewhere. I can not even believe the ignorance.

Awful. When the clerk hangs up on you when you are clearly upset and insist on speakIng to the doctor and you've been a patient for 15 years - it's clear things have gone downhill and it's time to move on. The nerve of her! Absolutely appalled by the poor customer service and lack of respect!!
