I've had spicy tuna on both coasts and I refuse to get sushi anywhere locally than Kyoto. People are great and the spicy tuna is heaven.

I've eaten here soooo many times I can't believe I've never written a review... even though, I've always recommended this place to people looking to Japanese Dining.Place is small but cozy... can get pretty packed and experience can get dampened by other loud and possibly obnoxious diners but that's often beyond the control of the restaurant.Street parking can be difficult as it's on a busy corner...Food excellent, service excellent... there's really nothing more I can say. The prices have been competitive even when seemingly everything else in the world has gotten more expensive.When the tea is good you know the place will be great....
Melt in your mouth amazing, Went with a friend for lunch and had the Volcano roll and it was the perfect blend of spicy and succulent.

Excellent restaurant whose kitchen and sushi bar are second to none. I thoroughly enjoyed a generously-sized avocado roll and a piping hot bowl of superbly prepared Vegetable Soba Noodle Soup. The staff and sushi chefs were all friendly and efficient. I am looking forward to returning after this first visit!
