Awesome, will be back soon. Came here after a somber family gathering and i will admit that everyone left with a smile on their face and a full belly. Support your neighbors!
Gr8 place. Very hospitable staff.Good food. Wud like to ho there again
Nice staff! Comfy outdoor seating with heaters. Great classic italian dishes.
This is my favorite restaurant in Kingston. This weekend we were there and ordered Pesto Shrimp and Truffle mushroom pizzas and they were great. Service was excellent as always and definitely stop by if we visit catskill area anytime.
3 of us went for the Veterans Day special. We had a great time. Everyone wore masks. There was in & outdoor seating available. The service was excellent. We're definitely going back again?
We went for early dinner And was sitiing outside it was pleasent . Nive View and great food we had Burata with salad which was excellent and the diamond of the evening was short ribs!!!!we will come back!!!
Delicious pizza!! I loved it; the truffle oil and mushroom worked so well together. Loved the breadsticks too. The calamari was good. The mains were a bit of a let down however. The carbonara was quite oily and the steak was average as well as the salad.
Dinner tonight was delicious ! The butternut squash bisque was very good. So was the carbonara special. Always great dining!
nice menu ,2 outside areas @ 6 tables on sidewalk plus open but covered side patio with @10 larger tables.// did i mention half price bottles of wine on Wednesday
I came here to Savona's last night to have a date night with my boyfriend. The food was fantastic. Our server was great as well. But the manager has some attitude problem. She was completely rude from the second we walked into Savona's. After dinner we went over to mariners for an after dinner drink and noticed that your manager was at their bar drinking, getting belligerent and yelling obnoxiously across the bar. I was appalled at what I was witnessing. We were just about to pull away in our car when I then again noticed her barking as she walked back into Savona's. It's such a shame to see a great establishment being represented by someone like that.
Had a great experience here. Everything from the call for a reservation, through dinner and drinks was great. Pleasant staff and delicious food. I'll be going back!
Nice location in the historic waterfront area, tasty italian food and helpful staff.
Right away they tickle your taste buds with an amazing fresh pesto baked bread sticks. Their menu offers everything that you could want every flavor experience. It's easy to get lost in their appetizer menu you wind up with two or three. Their main course leaves you wondering not much one wouldn't I like but which do I like the most. Wonderful charming atmosphere great place to be with friends and enjoy a night out and then walk down by the river .
I usually have no problem dealing with a poor experience or two, but I’ve now had FOUR bad experiences at the Kingston location of Savonas, each time having to do with incredibly terrible service. Would literally give 0 stars if that were an option.Tonight, my boyfriend and I arrived around 7 excited to have a celebratory dinner. The restaurant had plenty of open tables, both inside and outside. The hostess was assisting another guest in person and one on the phone but was super attentive and sat us as quickly as she could. The hostess, however, was the last person to speak more than 2 words to us all night, except for a bus boy who had choice words with us later in the night, but I’ll get to that. After being sat, one bus boy dropped off bread around 5 minutes later. We still had no table settings or water. He came back a few minutes later with some water, but still no napkins, silverware or plates and he ran off before we could ask. So we waited. And waited some more. We attempted to get the attention of 3 different members of wait staff- two waiters and a waitress, with no luck. Two of the waitstaff, however, had plenty of time to talk to their friends seated at the table DIRECTLY NEXT TO OURS. It wasn’t until I asked the table next to me what we have to do to get some service that an employee finally spoke to me. The person that spoke to us? A bus boy (not the one working our section) asking very aggressively from across the restaurant whether or not we have a problem. Yeah, after 30 minutes of watching every table around us get attention and we still don’t have a napkin? We definitely do. The hostess noticed immediately and asked if anyone had been over. I told her no but by then we’d had enough and just decided to leave. Not only were we ignored by the waitstaff, the bus boy was condescending. I wish I could say this was the first time but sadly it’s not. Hopefully the owners can get this place back together before continuing to expand elsewhere.
The food was decent and very generous portions. The atmosphere was odd, however. Country music was blaring and it made for an uncomfortable dining experience. (Kingston location)
