It appears that Savonnas has undergone a remarkable turnaround since my last visit. Whether it's a complete 180 or just an off day ten months ago, the culinary experience this time around was nothing short of exceptional. The flavors were simply delightful, a testament to their dedication to excellence. It seems they've found their stride and are now delivering on their promise of delectable dining experiences.
Food was good, and service was great for us. The standout for us was actually the breadsticks.

4 stars only because the portion was so small. I'm sorry, but when ordering from an Italian restaurant I have come to expect a large pasta portion bv let's face it, pasta is the cheapest ingredient with the highest mark up so you expect a large serving. Well, when I got my chicken franchise. The portions were tiny. Everything else was good about the meal. Large salad, 4 little garlic knots like pieces of bread that weren't refilled, and hood service. Enjoyed my experience, but I rather go out on a date somewhere else. Probably won't go back bc it wasn't worth it for a second time.

We got the lobster ravioli and Al vodka pasta. Both were DELICIOUS. The prices were not bad and the service was great. Recommend getting yourself an Italian coffee at the end of your meal. Would love to go back next time in town.

The VERY best veal marsala, chicken francese, penne alla vodka, zuppa de pesce, garlic breadsticks, salad & cheesecake & cannoli dessert tray we have ever tasted, bar none!

Really great food and the most welcoming staff. You are greeted and made to feel that you are the reason they are open from the get go. The place is lively and the aromas draw your appetite in. From the salads to the appetizers to the mains all the food is great. And then there are those yummy breadsticks. A tiramisu for dessert wraps it all up. We had an artichoke appetizer which was so delicious, a cod francaise which came with potatoes and spinach and that just melted in your mouth. And our kids had a penne alla vodka which was also great. I know why this place has been around for a long time.
Love Savona's. Such amazing people who do such for our community. Eggplant was outstanding.

We ordered takeout this evening and it never disappoints. The food was ready in about 20 minutes- it was waiting for us when we arrived. The carbonara is delicious- I got it with gluten free pasta. I also got a side salad with house dressing. I can't eat the delicious breadsticks anymore but they used to be one of my favorite foods. We only stopped in to pick up our food- it was quiet since we picked up early on a Monday. It also looked clean and inviting

Authentic, tastes like homemade recipes. Even the most basic dish is excellent. The classic test of marinara and pasta was perfect. Be confident with the full menu it is worth it.

Be better Savona's Trattoria Kingston. My mom and I both called yesterday to ask about ordering for Christmas Eve. We both were told they “recommended orders to be placed by 5:00 tomorrow.” Called at 4:00 to place our to go order and were told they weren’t taking to go orders because they were busy and they needed to be placed before 4:00. Their social media only says they were closing at 7:00. The two girls “Christina” and “Stefani” got rude on the phone and lied about telling my mom 4:00 and “maybe she needs to listen better.” They went silent when I told them they had also told me 5:00. I understand being busy but don’t say one thing and then lie to try to cover yourself. Thanks to Christina’s for saving the day and taking our last minute to go order!! We got penne ala vodka and sliced steak. It was delicious as always!?? Savona’s, train your staff on better customer service!
