We love the place! Five stars is perfection, alas illusive in this world. Our only criticism is the noise level.....

When you walk in, you are greeted immediately and the atmosphere is inviting and warm. The food was absolutely stellar. I had a grilled octopus special for an app that was cooked to perfection followed by the half rack of lamb that was so juicy and delicious. The sauce was incredible..not only is the food 5 star, watching the staff work together was quite lovely. They seem to be a true family and it is a welcome sight to see. Highly recommend this establishment and kudos to the staff and kitchen.

The Thai curry mussels was delicious. I like the small details, the waitress was very attentive and changed the bowl for the empty shells once it got full. The whole staff was wonderful.

Not bad. Lots of flies but it wasn't necessarily dirty, I think it's a function of the time of year and that the door was open. Food was good. Drinks were good.

Valentine’s Day dinner, ambiance was great, 6 pm reservation seated instantly. The gentleman took our beverage order and we placed an appetizer for the grilled octopus. Two nice pieces of octopus crispy but unfortunately over cooked and chewy. Flavors were great, exterior crust tasted amazing, but needing a steak knife and a few good cuts isn’t what someone’s looking for with grilled octo. Entrees we ordered the special burrata ravioli in pink sauce and a full rack of lamb over potatoes and asparagus. Her ravioli were remarkable, taste, plating, total execution on point. Mine on the other hand was a let down. Ordered a full race and received two skimpy chops laid against two skimpy chops. They were fabricated before cooking so half was cooked through 100% well done and the small portion medium rare was face up for presentation. I was very confused and asked the server if this was correct and he said no. This wasn’t until 10-15 mins after receiving the meal from someone other than my server who never checked in to see how things came out. They tried to make it right by bringing me another half a rack, again chopped into tiny pieces with (generously) 6oz in total of edible lamb. The second portion they brought was completely overcooked all the way through. Neither of the attempts at lamb were done right. Still charged full price and only given a “sorry from the chef” very unfortunate for Valentine’s Day with waitstaff on to be catching these things, the owner at the helm expoing the food, and the kitchen staff in the back, the Maitra D’ and host running food… with all those people in place they didn’t catch the issue or was my order placed wrong? No one should get their half an entree when the tables done eating. Poor service recovery. Just stay away from the lamb. Dessert was good, we had the Krupa bros Perogis and they were a nice treat. Something a little different. I bragged about ship to shore to my date and revoked it after the meal. Probably won’t be back. $160 for two people. UghhhParking: Very limited parking. Especially if there’s ANYTHING going on downtown.

I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful this restaurant is. The food was absolutely sublime. My friend & I had the prix fix lunch menu, but their regular menu items & cocktails were just so enticing--limoncello mascarpone cheesecake, anyone?--that I had to add a few of those as well. The space is _really_ visually interesting. An old building in that row of 19th-century commercial edifices facing Roundout Creek, all polished wood & what looked to be the original stamped-tin ceiling. The waitstaff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could!

Had a lovely dinner at Ship to Shore. Professional and attentive service, upbeat and comfortable ambiance, lovely cocktails. The food was very good -however my steak could have been seasoned a bit more and my husband said his filet was a bit chewy. That being said - it's a nice place with great staff. Would definitely recommend
