This Gem is located on N. Front St. in Kingston NY. Family owned and operated. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Always great specials to choose from whether it’s lunch or dinner. Favorites include grilled vegetables, caesar salad wrap, filet mignon, seared salmon and the chicken sorrentino to name a few. A must go if you’re in the area.

Not happy. Ordered chicken parmigiana to go and returned home to find it was burnt and inedible. Chicken was paper thin, black, and crunchy. Will never go back

Stella’s was an utter surprise. Everything exceeded our expectations from the salad to the beautiful steaks, Eggplant Parmesan to the pastas. We were a bit nervous as we were lead our back, but it was actually very nice outside. There was no wine list but the house wines were very drinkable. We opted for carafes which were actually very generous jugs. As Northern Californians, perhaps we picky. but our group thoroughly enjoyed the wines. A pleasant surprise. The bread basket was lovely and the service - warm and flawless. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Food was simple but fabulous. Very reasonably priced and portions are huge. Service was perfection. We loved it!

Visiting from Boston and this was a great little surprise! The atmosphere was cozy and friendly. Service with our waitress Katherine was above and beyond, very friendly and attentive. Busboy and hostess were also great (didn't get their names). And, the food was outstanding! Definitely recommend this place.Parking: We did not have to pay for parking at night.

This place is a hit or a miss. Some days, the food is prepared to perfection, and other days, the food is too salty or overcooked. The prices will definitely surprise you. A panini sandwich for lunch was 24 dollars.

Stella's salads hit the spot. They are even tastier if you get the steak with it. And with Togo orders they keep the steak warm and the salad cold and separate.

My husband & brother had the linguine in white clam sauce. They both enjoyed it & said there were clams a plenty. I had an arugula salad with 4 large grilled shrimp. Very tasty.

Jumping Jehoshaphat they should just create a 10 star restaurant or in my description a conversation house lol. Trust me they are really good listeners in this place. I talk a lot. I think I squeezed out about 4 1/2 stories. The nice young lady who answered the phone, took my order. I am a truck driver. She's not supposed to know how big my truck and trailer is but anyhow, I ended up finding a place to park directly. I believe to the west, but it was after hours, and there was nobody in this parking lot. I walked around to get my to go order , I know I'm getting her name wrong because I checked before I left. I'm extremely tired right now and it starts with an a Allison. Anyhow, this place fits right in with a small town.Very friendly the conversation flowed I work at one of the loneliest jobs there is it was refreshing to come here. I bet it was the owner that came out. I told her that she look famous. I tried to joke around and pretend like I had a complaint it was going to brag about everyone there , I did the joke wrong but anyhow, she got the point and we had a little laughEven some of the patrons over there were very, very very friendly. The place carries a smile for the great genuineness. Thanks again you guys I hope to come back here someday God bless.

A surprisingly excellent lunch! Stella's salad was extraordinary and I ate most of my husband's onion ring side because-- yummy! Beats out dozens of other lunch venues in this uptown business community.
