Usually my complaint with a BBQ joint is that the sides are not great. I wish that was all I could say was wrong with this place. The meat was not tender at all. The brisket needed a knife and the ribs were tough. I could not believe that all three of the meat choices I picked were bad. The pulled pork bbq sauce was not good, at all. If you know what decent southern BBQ us avoid this place.I wish someone would gave told me. Maybe the burgers would be a better choice

I ordered the Smoked Brisket sandwich. It was a $15 menu item so I was expecting it to be good. The meat was tough and didn't taste like it was smoked. It was over soaked in hot sauce and the sides were equally as bad. It was a waste of $15.

The service was great but the food was lousy. I ordered the smoked Brisket sandwich. The meat was so tough I could hardly chew it and it pulled out of the bun. They soaked it in a hot sauce that was terrible tasting. It didn't taste like the meat was smoked. The sides were equally bad. On top of that it was $15 for a sandwich the size of a breakfast biscuit. What a rip off!

I'm normally someone who looks at reviews, so I saw this and got kind of excited. The 4.2 star review felt very misleading. The only notably good thing I have to say is that the food only took about 20 min to bring out. I got the brisket sandwich and potato salad. The potato salad was fine, but the sandwich was another story. It was inedible. I had to pull the pieces of meat off the sandwich and rip away at it with my teeth, and I had to give up after a couple of minutes because it was no use. Basically, imagine the worst roast beef sandwich you've had. I can practically guarantee that this was worse. Also, the sauce tasted like vinegar with a tablespoon of mustard. The only reason that I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady serving us was really nice.

Ordered take out and it was awful. Maybe it’s because it’s the off season, but the rack of ribs was barely edible- so tough, no flavor, tasted like it was cooked weeks ago and reheated 6 times. Got hog fries as well which had about an inch of grease in the bottom of the plate and also tasted like nothing but grease. I really hope the food was just so bad because it was a Thursday in the winter (although isn’t winterfest suppose to be busy??) but I would never ever go back to try it again. Just sitting here hoping I don’t get sick

Thought I would try this place out since the reviews were good. My experience was ridiculous. Me and my friends get there around and 9 the only guy working the place is clearly intoxicated. Food was mediocre. And in the end the guy double charged my card. Could've been an off night but definitely turned me and my friends away from trying again.
Some of the worst bbq I have ever had. All of the meat is slathered with sauce and so tough it’s hard to bite through. If you want good authentic bbq this is not the place to come.

Great time. The Halloween party was fun, the band Lucid Street was fantastic. Food was quick hot and reasonable. My grilled cheese sandwich was excellent, the sliders were a little plain. The drinks were excellent and reasonable. Nice place tucked a little out of the way. I will be making a point to return.

Unbelievable chocolate wings! Had to try the smoked pulled pork over Mac and cheese, it was the best Iv ever had. Great place, real food homemade goodness!
