We had the pleasure of visiting Lake George for a few days and decided to stop in for a meal. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, which was both delicious and flavorful. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet, as it was a cold night and many people chose to stay home.

Hidden gem and it was way more trendy inside than it looked from the outside. They had better hours than most of the places around and the food was great. The dish that impressed me the most was this garlic bread appetizer that was so soft and delicious. They had some good beer and the prices were a little higher than some other places nearby, but I liked the experience and the low lighting with an industrial touch.

What a wonderful experience! After going to 3 different locations, we saw this spot on our way to the Buck Mountain trail. Kayla's service was outstanding as well as the rest of the staff. Food was great and very dog friendly!

I really wanted to like this place. My first impression was pretty bad. I had a reservation for 5, but showed up a little early. I wasn’t sure exactly how long the walk was from my B&B. A young lady came to the door and opened it as I was walking up, so I explained my situation. She said they at didn’t open until 5. So, I say, “No problem; I’ll wait. Mind if I have a seat?” She said that she would rather I just wait because she didn’t want the bartender to feel rushed. I didn’t ask for a drink, nor did I want one. I ended up sitting on a concrete step to wait. At 5 the hostess was out and I got sat. I’m the only person there for most of my meal. I think a couple came and sat inside. The same lady that denied me a seat ended up being my server. Again, not a good start. But, I like the menu, so I stuck around. I started with the fried gnocchi which were completely flavorless, but had a decent dipping sauce. I had a similar dish in Lake Placid and had higher hopes. For a main dish, I chose the Asiago crusted pork schnitzel. The schnitzel was overcooked. The spaetzle looked like it was going to be good, but was ridiculously salty. But the schnitzel had no salt, so I just combined them. I was completely underwhelmed and just skipped dessert. The patio is ok, but could use some plants or something. It’s just a concrete slab overlooking a four lane road. I had a better meal at Taqueria Paloma with much better service. And next time I’m in Lake George, I won’t be back to gaslight.

I really wanted to like this place. The menu is interesting. The service was not good and the food was overcooked and way over salted.

A nice hidden gem of a place right on the strip in beautiful Lake George, New York definitely I must try nice atmosphere. Good, nice, clean restaurant. It was very busy, but service was actually. The food was amazing and the menu simple but great. Definitely, one of the great spots to eat in Lake George with a gorgeous view of the Lake. The servers were very attentive and the restaurant was check it out, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Certainly a busy spot in the summer as it's a tourist town.

We arrived at 7:30pm on a Sunday and there was no Pizza available. Posted closing time (at least online) is 10pm. Decided to stay and order anyway. Food was pretty solid but took awhile considering there were only 4 tables with customers at them and 2 had already been served.Service was mediocre, restrooms were not clean and at about 8:20pm (remember online hours said open until 10) they turned away a table of ten that looked like they could eat. Had to be at least a $300 check and they sent a busboy to tell the group the kitchen was closed. Perhaps that was the owner's call but I suspect not. If I were the owner I'd be ticked.

I wasn’t going to post a review as my wife already did, but once the restaurant replied to her review blaming our son for “reaching across the table” I needed to leave my own review. The person who brought out our food (not our server but a younger guy) was carrying multiple items (my seafood sancocho, my son’s fries, Mac and cheese and chicken tenders). He was leaning across the table to bring my sancocho and fumbled the other items spilling the ketchup on my son, WHO WAS SEATED. The guy almost spilled the sancocho as well but I grabbed it from him (yes the bowl was hot). The guy was apologetic and it was an accident but I’m not going to let the owner come on here and say it’s my son’s fault.I’m appalled by the response by this restaurant, but I guess I shouldn’t be. This restaurant actually gaslights their patrons.Edit - the sancocho wasn’t good either - a bit salty and the broth tasted more like pho.
