I was unfortunately helped by the owner, which was the worst service I have Ever received from any restaurant I have ever visited in my life. The owner lacks sincerity and is very Ignorant and illiterate. She should not be allowed to serve food to the public with an Attitude like that! My Bill was $9.58 I had no cash and I was finish Ordering, apparently there minimum was $10 I asked her if she could allowed the transaction she said no, I was appalled at her uptightness and her reluctancy! I simply asked if it was personal because anyone working in hospitality that has good service would not allow 42 cents to be an issue. However, the Lady curse me out so badly and told me not to come back and she did not need my business; I am still amazed at how escalated this woman who is the owner carried on. She needs to remember it is the consumers that keeps her doors open, her lights on. My Business may not have mattered but with an Attitude like that she will lose customers one by one. I Was so upset, I threw the food I just purchased in the Garbage .

Took a trip to NY for a week and wanted to visit my favorite Auntie and Uncles restaurant . Lol Since i live in Florida im not able to get good homecooked Guyanese food unless i go to grandmas .They were sadly closed . I've been purchasing food from this restaurant for as long as it's been in existence on Merrick Blvd in Queens! The food and baked goods are so delicious, I frequently go there. It's my go to place when I don't want to cook, but desire a home-cooked meal! I love that the chef and his wife don't only cook great Guyanese food, but they also cook great American (Southern) food as well! Lastly, the portions are really generous!!! You can't go wrong!!!
