We went on New Years Eve and had a great time. Every dish we ordered was impressive, the chicken with shrimp was quite delicious. The service and atmosphere was excellent and very festive. Theprices are on the high side but the overall experience was memorable.

The meal was very good. The staff was also super friendly. Good restaurant to eat at. Only complaint would be parking, but it wasnr even that bad.

Was greeted by a gentleman, we had reservations, was my cousins birthday, started off w/Tom./mozzarella, I had lemon sole w/veg. Then they sang HB, brought out slice of cheese cake, choc. Cake & apple strudel sort of. Was very thoughtful of them. Would go again. Oh before I forget their liquid soap dispenser had the best smell, to was hands, somet lavender? Chao…

The eight of us came to celebrate a family member's b-day celebration. Specials included an array of dishes, one of them was a swordfish dish with a mustard sauce and grilled vegetables. Figuring I love to try different Pesci, I ordered it. The server noticed I had barely touched my plate. I told the server, the swordfish texture was like a piece of chewing gum and completely tasteless The server was very nice and try to see if I would prefer something else but I was already disappointed with the food, I respectfully declined. The server also try to see if the fish dish would be removed from the bill. No such gesture was rendered, the bill was over $400 not to mention leaving a generous tip of 25% which the servers more than deserved. The servers were excellent, they made every attempt to provide the patrons with their requests. Kudos to the staff! The other more pressing issue was the servers were maskless. Although the mandates have been lifted, it seemed that some would like to have the option of wearing them but were allegedly told by management as long as the workers are vaccinated, the servers were prohibited from wearing the masks. Being exposed: 1st to a virus that does not discriminate and 2nd without contested protection is antihuman. This virus is like a russian-roulette, some people get very sick while others do not. For an establishment like Stresa that serves people from all over the world, it seems to lack respect and empathy for those employees' basic human protection. Respect and kindness to your employees go a long way, make it your mantra. People need people. Regretfully submitted, Highly Disappointed Patron

Excellent food and staff. Very attentive and accommodate special requirements. The Torta Primavera is extra special and a rarity. You will not leave hungry. Great place for a family dinner, special occasion or for a night out.

This is fine dining in a beautiful setting. The Service is on point and friendly. A nice wine list accompanies EXCELLENT food. There is not a bad thing on the menu. It is a little pricey but based on the quality of the experience and location? Worth every cent

First time coming here tonight. It was phenomenal. For appetizers we had the asparagus with prosciutto and the baked clams. Both were delicious but especially if you are lemon garlic fan..those clams..chef's kiss! Deeeelicious. For my entree, I had the dolver sole, it's a special. My dad had the branzino and my mom had the fettuccine with veal/chicken. Mine, was sooooo good! I loved that they gave lemon caper sauce on the side with my dish. Overall, I love sauce so they fact that I can pour it on my fish to my hearts content that makes me happy! So tasty too! My dad's branzino was very tasty and crispy! My mom's pasta was yummy too! I had a side of pasta with marinara with my fish but I could've had the vegetables probably would've been healthier. However, I couldn't resist! The pasta was yummy, loved the sauce. For dessert, we received a complimentary dessert platter which was perfect so we had a chance to sample everything! The dessert is so good, oh my my my. The whip cream was addicting with the brownie cake! The service here is outstanding! Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. One of the brothers who is the owner, not sure his name, was very knowledgeable and very welcoming! I saw his picture on the wall walking in so that's how I know! Melvis, our waiter, was so friendly and exceptional! He was very accommodating and had a great personality! I highly recommend checking this place out. Delicious food and world-class service!! I'll be back for sure.

Celebrated my grandmas birthday here. The service was nice and so was the ambiance. We started with a salad for the table which was ok( I'm not the biggest fan of endive). I ordered the red snapper special and felt it was over salted and just ok. For $40 I was expecting much more.

Disappointed. We've been to Stresa on a number of visits for a few years and have had both good cuisine and positive service, hence our repeat custom. Tonight's meal, however, was completely out of wack. On two occasions, once in an appetizer, and another in a main course, we found what appearred to be pieces of packaging in our meal - upon notifying the staff, the head waiter would on both occasions initially apologised disgruntingly, and then became terse when we expressed our concern about the find. Secondly, two main courses, the sauteed veal and the lamb ravioli, we're both seasoned in such a way that it tasted more like a odd Chinese meal than Italian (I'm ethically Chinese and have lived in Italy, there is a difference in cuisine) - I'm unsure if it was the intended flavour, but that was indeed my takeaway from tonight's experience - substantially sub-par.
