Was down here buying stuff at Infinity Records, had researched this deli on here and read good things about it, so ambled in after record shopping, literally a minute walk down the way. This deli is on its own corner in Massapequa, parking on street, but at least it's not metered. I'm giving them 5 stars because the food here was phenomenal, a total old school LI deli in every way, no frills, but the chicken cutlet sandwich I ordered was on point completely. I have had the zinger on a garlic hero twice now. Wow. It has always been a favorite of mine to add some pepperoni to any sandwich for some kick and flavor. This comes with it. I really need to try the cheesesteak and the jet. This is a hidden gem that i was reluctant to post a 5 star review because I would like to keep it under wraps but credit is due when it is due. Neighbors Deli is the BEST around! The food is always fresh and delicious and the owners and employees are always friendly and accommodating! We have been customers for 30 years but today was exceptional!I went in while they were closing for the day (didn’t realize the time) with my dad who has been sick and he was craving some of their delicious soup. Chris and another lovely lady opened everything back up and made a tomato rice soup and delicious roast beef sandwich for us....read full review
