Chose Kantu for our 15th year anniversary dinner with our kids. Not impressed. Ceviche was really good and drinks were good, but the rice with mixed seafood had a bit of chewy parts, the shrimp were perfect. Disappointed staff didn’t really care for our anniversary. Other places we’ve been too at least surprise us with a tiny dessert as a nice gesture. But not much celebration here. Sad. Also wat y out for their extra 3% charge if you pay with credit card. Not good business.

Best Peruvian in the city. If you want to take your friends and family somewhere they will be impressed by the quality of the food, this is it. Need to come back for their pisco cocktails of which the menu is extensive!
The food is good, but the service is great.

The best Peruvian restaurant in our area. Beautifully and artfully decorated. Traditional Peruvian fare in a chic setting. They have just expanded. A testament to how good it is!

The first time I went to KANTU RESTAURANT, I was excited to try the food and expand my roots to other cultures, I ordered Lomo Saltado and it was TOO SALTY and had a lot of dressing, and a lot of aji panca, and the other dish: Arroz Chaufa had too much Soy Sauce, the rice was brown, that’s also makes it SALTY. The meat was tender and yummy.

Went here for the first time, we where a group of 4 people.
Oh boy the food was AMAZING. Had the mar y tierra dish with tacu ta u and plantains and it was delicious. I also had a mixed ceviche and a pisco sour and their were both also delicious. Service was very good and also the atmosphere.
This place remained me a bit of my latino home.
Will definitely comeback here again.

I ordered a big Jalea for almost 58.32 dollars. When I received it the supposed to be big Jalea for pick up, once I got home and opened it I was so surprised that is not a real Peruvian Jalea it was full of just calamares rings, missing fish and mussels. A real Peruvian Jalea is full of mix seafood and pieces of fish. This one got me really upset to me and my family. I wasn't expecting to get it missing ingredients and not well serve. So disappointed to this Jalea at this place Kantu Restaurant. Definitely will not go bad to this place and Not recommend it.

Tucked away in Forest Hills, Kantu is bringing bold Peruvian flavors and cocktails that hit on another level. 🌶️🍹 From classic favorites to chef-inspired creations, every dish is a photo-worthy craving waiting to happen.
Whether you’re here for a night out with friends, a party, or just good vibes and great food, this spot delivers. The seafood mix with lobster tail? Absolutely next-level. 🦞🔥The grilled chicken is also so delish.
