Came here with my family for lunch. We loved it! Charming and relaxing atmosphere, kind and efficient service, and most importantly: the food was so delicious and reasonable. We especially loved the samsa, achik-chuk, and lagman. 5 stars, no notes.

This restaurant is a very unique establishment in Queens. Sitting on Queens Boulevard, it’s easy to walk or drive past without noticing. Even if you notice the establishment, you may wonder what it is or if it’s a event hall.If you dare to step inside you will find out that it is a very unique restaurant. The hallway leads to a large room with many distanced tables almost resembling a banquet hall. You may notice the TVs on either ends of the room playing Uzbeki songs and dances or you may even be lucky enough to see a live Uzbeki song performance on the stage. Once you sit down and the cutlery arrives, you will be fascinated to see the ornate designs. The restaurant serves Uzbeki cuisine including Uzbeki dumplings, many different skewers including many meat and some non-meat options and main dishes consisting of more meat and sometimes rice and/or salad. This restaurant is home to all carnivorous patrons as the restaurant offers over 15 different types of grilled, skewered meats including lamb. For dessert, there are Uzbeki options including a honey cake-like slice.Overall, the setting and atmosphere here is very unique and you will be introduced to Uzbeki culture via the waiters, television programs, patrons etc. it is very interesting to interact with Uzbeki culture in Queens as it is often not available in abundance. The food is delicious and a must-go for my carnivorous friends.

It's not our first time with the food here having takeout before. We called last minute as we know reservations are almost a must. It was pack3d but we got seats. The food is authentic and flavorful. The kabobs were awesome, especially the steak. Prices are very reasonable in mho. The service started well, but we arrived later in the evening, and it went downhill as the night went on. I understand staff wanting to leave, but 20 minutes to get the check and then having to run down staff to pay it was over the top, especially so late. We wanted to leave also. We will likely return, but earlier in the evening and with reservations.

Super unassuming place from the outside and stumbled across it on Instagram and I am so glad that I did. We were the only ones there as we got there just as it opened on a random weekday, so the service was great, which was helpful as we were a bit overwhelmed by the menu. I personally liked the traditional bread but the baba ganoush with it was not the best we've had. Next came a few of the pastries, including samsa and manti. These were interesting, well-made dough, and a good amount of meat inside each. At the recommendation of the waitress we got kebabs and we were not disappointed- the meat was super tender and juicy. Finally, the Uzbek pilaf is a staple so we felt like we had to get it and it was overall fine but not the best version of this dish we've had. Worth the try and would definitely consider ordering take-out from here in the future.

I have been to the restaurant many times and the food is always so tasty. The service is a little slow when it comes to getting your bill. From what it seems the cashier is a waitress as well and so you have to wait for her to get to the register. The waiters are formal but not so friendly. The atmosphere is good but more like a dinning hall, bright and very noisy.

4.1/2 stars !REALLY! .why is it the decor or is it because the food is cheap. maybe you went there drunk after all it is a BYOB. Now why this place deserves a 2 stars . I went there because i heard good things about it. i went there last week with a friend a waitress came to us couldnt speak english she spoke russain . we told her we speak english and then a waiter came to us and did not greet us the first thing he said was "reservation" then he took us to the back and then back to the front of the door . He didnt know where to put us he made us stand for a few minutes for a table. Now as he doing that the place was already half empty . finally manager comes gives us a table by the door .as people keep coming i see they are going through the same thing we were. then a costumer comes in and get angry and tell them this place always empty and you guys as for reservation . as i was looking at my the menu the waiter drops four glasses behind me there was a big piece of broken glass under my feet and the waiter didnt bother picking up the piece of glass or apologizing. Anyway now food i ordered pilov, manti , kebabs , soup , and samsa . bill came 50 something dollars . only thing was good was samsa and menti i give them 7 out of 10. every thing else 3.5 out of 10. 1.pilov is suppose to the national dish . meat was super dry and rice was under cooked. i had stomach problem after that. 2.soup . i order beef soup, the soup it taste weird i asked what kind of soup this is the waitress said lamb soup , but on the menu it said beef the waitress we dont serve beef and she forgot to tell me . the broth okay but he meat for lamb was old and it taste krunchy madye there was bone in the middle or something. 3. Kebab the worst of all. i got the lamb and chicken. the lamb kebab was small and it taste like fat/gelatinous. i never had lamb like that before and finally the chicken the meat was dry didnt have any flavor . i had worse kebab then this ,but the problem with this kebab i paid 15$ plus tax and 15% tip and you get very liitle meat .If you dont belive me go there and order it . i would not recommand this restaurant to anybody . go at ur own risk.

The food was phenomenal, samsa was a must try. The skewer kebabs were so delicious I’m getting hungry again just writing about it. Never expected such a cool little local joint that I’ve walked passed a million times to be this amazing. I’m kicking myself for not trying this
