Their website says they are open starting in March and Google as we speak says they are open for the season with their hours but they don't open until March 22 according to the sign on their door... it's just sad it takes someone making it to their door to know they aren't open. It's really unfair in a place where there would be no other cakes and someone would have to prepare in advance to get a cake somewhere for a party in Montauk. Very disappointing when you can just be clear in your communication.

One of the worst things of all when running a business is when a manager or business leader tries to outsmart people by giving them free training on the first few hours of just learning how to turn on the cash register, but there were worst cast scenarios like the Frozen Anchor ice cream who dared to hire young high school students and had the audacity to say, "free training but its scooping ice cream." At the end of the day, no one will understand how much time and input you've traveled just to have a job and get paid. No one in this place cares other than to take advantage of others whether you are an immigrant, no background of education, and so forth. If you are speaking with a broken language, thus you are a r***** in their perspective. If you can't count bills properly and uneducated, thus you are a r****** In my perspective, the manager is a racist. To conclude this message, I have a quote that I adored the most. It was this quote I recall when I was young that to "Never judge a book by its cover," and another quote from Mark Twain "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." The book ive read that from is called Innocents abroad, but you find it at the end of the chapter. It's pretty nice.Take note, if you ever misdiagnose or diagnose a person without a clinical license... you will get sued.

Egg sandwich was not good had better there. Thought the buns/cakes were a little stale too.

Used to love this place, last two trips, wrong egg wrap unfortunately couldn’t bring it back. Yesterday went for what I used to enjoy years ago the cinnamon jelly croissant and it was stale. Just threw it out as I was definitely surprised. Hopefully this isn’t normal as the place was our favorite.

I found this cute little bake shop on yelp when I was planning a trip to Montauk. The food is bad. I ordered "avocado toast" .. the bread isn't even toasted. It was a bread sandwich with avocado mashed inside. It was terrible. The sausage egg and cheese was mediocre too. All around disappointing. I ordered a couple baked goods and they were not great. I was kinda shocked. When you walk in to the bake shop Everything looks so Good. But the pastries don't taste great and the breakfast food is terrible.

Literally the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had in my entire life !!! I'm not sure if this is a regular item on their menu but if it's available when you visit, you absolutely must give it a try.

Found a rubber band in my bacon egg and cheese. Absolutely disgusted and confused how that even happens

This is a Montauk institution, I've been coming here for almost 50 years. Inventive cookies, fantastic jelly rolls, and really nice customer service. The line will be out the door but you will be served very quickly!

The jelly doughnuts seem to be what they are famous for and when in Montauk it has become a vacation food tradition. They do otherwise have a great selection of other sweets to choose from but those lobster and fish shaped cookies could probably give up the shelf space to something more attractive. For those that need their coffee fix this is the go-to place as well. Why the signs about cell phones not being welcome in the place I am really not sure. The service is somewhere between rude and bad, but the lines move quickly. Why five stars with this kind of service? To me, it is an odd part of the charm of going here. To some degree, like Durgin-Park was in Boston (RIP after 200 years of service), this place wouldn't be the same without the quirky service. The place is also small to the point where it is sometimes hard to navigate the people waiting to place their orders and people waiting for their orders. Yet, having to make this comment tells you it is still a must-visit if you are in Montauk.

Went on a Sunday morning and line move along. Daughters picked a number of items. Wife thought the muffin was good. I thought the doughnuts were just average.
