This place is the quintessential NY deli.Glad to see they're always busy.Don't miss the chance to stop in for a hero and some chicken fingers!

I’ve had catered food from this place at parties so many times and while I always remember the food being very good to exceptionally good for a big party the one thing that stands out are those amazing chicken fingers and that to-die-for honey mustard sauce. I love those and always eat far more than are good for me!

They charged extra to keep the ends on the hero. Seriously. I thought the guy was joking when he said it. He was not.

I can describe Dominick's Deli in three words. Delicious, delicious and delicious. We have used them for catering, our just sandwiches at times and they never disappoint. Just don't leave without getting some chicken fingers. They also sponsor so many local not for profits, Little leagues, Veteran's and many others. A great part of the community

They charged extra to keep the ends on the hero. Seriously. They expected more money for NOT giving you 90% of a hero. I honestly thought the counter person was kidding. He was not.

Fabulous neighborhood deli! Same service and pleasant staff for many years. They are one of the few places that family looks forward to getting food from

5-stars for food, but 0 for customer service. Not in a hurry to spend my money there again.Have been a loyal Dom's customer for decades. The food has always been great and Dominick was always kind and courteous. Have always recommended their food and catering to family and friends. Not to mention placing two separate $500+ orders for our staff every summer. In recent weeks I have made stops at Doms to pick up a quick lunch or dinner or a tray of chicken fingers for a get-together. At one visit on June 17, I asked for a shopping bag to carry out the smaller bags of containers along with a tray of chicken fingers. Vinny was behind the cashier and reprimanded me for not asking ahead of time- He said it was wasting bags this way. AFTER I just paid $50+ I asked the cost of the bag and offered to give them an extra dollar to cover it. Vinny then proceeded to tell me it was unnecessary while still lecturing me about the waste.Today, we visited with the sole purpose of ordering our first staff lunch for this summer. We picked up a catering menu off the catering counter when the cashier asked if we were ordering. Nick then jumped in and took our order. Again $500+ later, we were looking over the receipt and questioned that the hero prices were not the same as in the menu. He rudely told us we had the wrong menu, but we told him we got it right from the catering counter. He dismissvely said, "Wrong menu" again, handing us a copy with handwritten price changes. When we commented we had seen the other prices on the website as well, he dismissed us once again, and walked away claiming, "Those are the prices," and disappeared to a back room. After reading other reviews with similar experiences, I can't help but doubt a male customer would have been spoken to the same way. Will not be placing an order for a second staff lunch. We will spend our 500 dollars elsewhere next time.

Very good food, very friendly employees . The only thing I can say is that the place is in need of an update. But other than that, it's a great local Deli.

A very fun spot to check out for chicken fingers. There are times where you would have to wait around 45 minutes before your order is ready, due to lunch-hour-rush. It is good to call-in your order for pick-up. If you do decide to walk-in and wait-in line, it can move fairly fast. There is always a server ready to take orders for chicken fingers only, so you can skip the line for people who want sandwiches and other food item on their menu. Fried chicken fingers and grilled chicken breast are my go-to item at Dominick's Deli aka Dom's Deli. For $10.99 per pound, you can divide that up, and get 1/2 pound chicken fingers and 1/2 pound grilled chicken breast (approx. 3 slices). Most importantly, the creamy and addicting honey mustard that comes with it, is the secret to making all chicken taste better. Sandwiches here are also good. Made with simplicity so it can hit the spot more quicker. I have tried a couple of sandwiches from here before and they are all generously stuffed for around $11. For the area, it is very comparative to Remo's, Ardito's, and Manor's Deli. A spacious and free parking lot is available in the deli's facility.

From my early high school days and to now when I come back to visit family I always stop by Doms! The best deli sandwiches and fingers you will find in the area. The staff are always working hard to make you a consistent high quality sandwich while also getting you out the door asap.Food and Service 10/10 for the last 10 plus years!° PHOTO IS OF THE BROADWAY SANDWICH

Every sandwich and even the chicken fingers are DELICIOUS but Vinny is arrogant and condescending.I called and placed a catering order on June 24, for a pick up on July 3, and paid in full by credit card. I even called early on July 3, stating it is paid for and I'm having someone else pick up my order and if that's okay? The girl who picked up stated not a problem, she see my order, and just tell my daughter to say my name and that's it.My daughter got there, went to the catering pick up counter. After waiting a few, Vinny came, when my daughter said hey I'm here for a pick up gave my name stated what the order was, he became super aggressive and was like where your order ticket? When my daughter stated that I placed the order/paid via phone and that she doesn't have one and that I called earlier that day to confirm and was told she only needed to state my name. Again Vinny started to get annoyed and more aggressive and asked for my credit card statement for proof?! Like WHAT?! And proceeded to tell my daughter to relax even though my daughter kept stating a she didn't have one because the order was placed via phone and obviously why would my daughter have my credit card statement. Finally another gentleman behind the counter found my ticket and helped my daughter. My daughter was shocked, caught off guard and called me right away explain the situation that just took place and felt uncomfortable with what just took place. For an older gentleman to talk to A) a women B) to anyone like this, is UNACCEPTABLE!If the receipt was needed, then at the time of me placing the order, they should've asked for my email and sent me either an email confirmation or even a text. It's sad that such a great deli, that has amazing food, has such complaisant person running the deli.

Very good Italian deli although what sets this place apart is their level of customer service is second to none. They are old school in that way and it's why my family will keep returning.
