I bought two orders of lunches from this restaurant, shrimp with broccoli. The food wasn’t upto my satisfaction. The shrimp was small and frozen , broccoli overcooked and the sauce was not good . It was a waste of money .

This is the worst Chineses Restaurant i have ever ordered from. I ordered a large Pork Fried Rice and one order chicken wings with 2 additional wings aded which was supposed to be 6 whole wings total. After picking up my order I got what seems to be a regular size fried rice and 3 wings which was cut in half to make up the 6 wings i ordered. After compiling that I think they got my order wrong, it turned out that their large is basically a regular size which is small and they cut one ☝️chicken wing in 2 pieces and count it as 2 wings. I felt like I got ripped off, never going back here again. I paid almost $30 for a regular fried rice and 3 wings. And not to mention the food was trash and the carpet in this place is very dirty, the place smells and nasty looking. I ended up throwing the food away. Never again..

Food is great and the service is good. The place is very clean, the only thing is when you order to take out they limit the amount of condiments giving. I ask for mustard and only got one small package. But other then that the food is delish.

Best Chinese in the area! Better than Chef Wang which has gotten overpriced. The front manager is meticulous, precise, and hard working.

This is the best Chinese food I've ever had. It's quality not cheap frozen stuff. Hot oil is great. I travel far to come here. I suggest you do too.

After a long hiatus we tried Empire Garden again about 2 months ago, We’ve been back 3 times and recommend it to several people, We got the Sizzling Rice Soup, Pu Pu Platter, Shredded Pork with Garlic Sauce and Happy Family. All were outstanding. I highly recommend Empire Garden. I think it’s under new ownership. Give it a try.Parking: Enough spots .

If I could give it minus stars BBB I would. i went to the restaurant 3 times. Twice for lunch and once for dinner. The waiter was very rude each time. When I asked him about the dishes he refused to tell me what's in them. When I asked for more napkins he said I have one your not getting more. The owner was also very nasty. The lunch egg roll had no pork in it. The fried rice for lunch had nothing in it. No pork, eggs etc. my dinner entry which was to have chicken, beef and pork had zero pork. For the very high prices the portion was very small About one third others give. They filled the plate with a garnish so you would not notice. Every time I was there no one else was in the restaurant. I now no why.I will never come back.

It is very unfortunate that I felt so compelled to write this review but tonight I had to. We have been living in NHP for over 35 years and Empire Gardens, under original ownership, was the place to go for great Chinese food. Over the years and with changes to ownership/chefs, the food quality and taste has deteriorated. I keep giving this restaurant another chance but tonight was the worst ever. The Chinese rice was almost black with a ton of soy sauce, the lo-mein was disgusting and the shrimp dish I got tasted like medicine. Even the way the food was presented looked bad... It was pretty horrible and I'm not exaggerating. I don't know if the "take out" food chef is different than the chef that cooks for restaurant goers but I have to do take out for my elderly parents. We took the entire order and threw it in the garbage. We could not eat it...We have been longstanding customers and my family wants to support our local businesses. However, there is no place and no excuse for disgusting food. Empire Gardens is finished with us and NO, I do not recommend this restaurant. The food was not edible tonight. I gave this place "NO" stars. My family and I will never order from Empire again. It's over for us, tonight's meal was the straw that broke the camels back ...
