Honestly, the best eggplant palm I’ve ever had, so good that I bet the fork! Sorry! This is a must try if you’re in little Italy and you just want a quick meal or a full meal. We came here when we’re on a tour and so happy that this was one of the stops along the way we absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to come back with friends and family.

If you are looking for an authentic restaurant where traditional recipes and love for the customer are central, then Benito One is the place to be. Very tasty meal. Because our daughter is not a big eater, we discussed in advance which type of pasta she would prefer to eat and then the sauce was determined. All this regardless of the map. That's how it should be. Had a very pleasant conversation with our waiter, kind regards to Christiano! We had a baked ziti, linguini with seafood and pasta with cheese sauce. With all drinks included, this brought the total to 105 USD. This is a correct amount for us.We would love to come again for a second helping.

Great food but service can be better for the price. We were there party of 5, enjoyed the food but had to ask for napkins and clean glass. The waitress/helper was sloppy with sauce all over her blouse, not good. But food was great!!

An excellent restaurant in the heart of the "Little Italy" district. The restaurant is simple but the food is really delicious. The restaurant owner is lovely. The service is fast.I order the spaghetti with veal escalope (a treat) and otherwise the spaghetti with meatballs.Delicious tiramisu.Restaurant with good value for money. For my part, I recommend the restaurant "Benito One" if you visit the "Little Italy" district

I'm a second generation Italian.....this is the worst food in general that I have ever been served. I ordered chicken picata with pasta with tomato sauce. I received a soupy plate of pasta with chunks of what seemed poured out of a can tomatoes, no flavour and it was not sauce in any way. The chicken was paper thin and so dry with too many capers, making it extremely salty. The picata sauce was not thick enough to be called a sauce as it resembled soup and ran into the pasta. I am not sure if this was a good or bad thing as it gave the pasta some flavour. I also ordered a Pellegrino and they brought me a huge bottle costing 9.00. This restaurant doesn't care for repeat business and caters to one time tourists. Horrible just horrible. Stay away.

Meatballs dryer then your grandmothers bush. It was like eating beef flavored sawdust if it was beef at all. Ravioli tasted frozen. Little Italy ?? went down hill. Got to go to the Bronx now for real Italian food. Plus the spot was old and weathered had a funky smell and the tables had maroon duct tape covered table covers.

@SPANISH AND ITALIAN carbonara with bacon, cream and onion…. The lobster ravioli tasted like Crisia and little else, that plus two beers and some olives 103 dollars, little shame two poorly made and tasteless pasta dishes with a beer 100 bucks, perhaps for the English, Swiss or New Yorker it is the bomb, for After a week in NY, the biggest scam I have ever faced. The waiters are 10 attentive and friendly but the food is worthless, the best are the olives

The pasta is very good and on point, in that sense perfect, the waiters a 10 but if you order a carbonara in a so-called classic Italian, it is disappointing that it is bacon, cream and onion and it is not a real carbonara, a shame, because the The place, even though it is old and threadbare, has its charm.
