I wanted some good street food, so I asked what the most popular dish was. He recommended the Tikka, and I asked him to make it spicy. The dish was cooked to order and was just what I wanted. I'd go back for sure.

Best food cart in NYC. Workers are so nice and the spiced chicken tikka over rice with the white and green mint sauce is amazing.

Polite gentleman who served me with a smile! The lamb with salad was $10 and there a plentiful serving of flavorful lamb cubes. The salad was only iceberg lettuce (I asked for without tomatoes). He sprinkled on some green seasoning, hot sauce, and white sauce. It was spicy and tasty! Will come back again!

Best street side biryani. Cost is very reasonable compared to all other street foods in that area and taste and quantity was great.

Overrated. Barely any meat for $10 in biryani. Mostly rice. Taste is alright. The rolls have very thick roti/bread. Just a bunch of hot red sauce.

I love Biryani, and had heard of this cart for awhile and been looking forward to trying it.Sorely disappointed, the chicken biryani was so dry, and the chicken was tough. Not a lot of flavor either, even with the sauces.

One of the best authentic biryanis in NYC. It has very unique taste and very very cheap. In addition to the chicken biryani they also have veg biryani, chappli kebab, rolls, chicken with rice, etc. They start at 11 in the morning and I believe open till well beyond midnight.Vegetarian options: Vegetable biryani

It's hands down the best food cart in NYC. Little known to tourists but treasures by office workers in the area.My go to is chicken biryani and chicken Tikka over rice and they never disappoint. Great food comes with very generous portions at a super reasonable price. The owner is also super friendly and he remembers every customer and their usuals. I appreciate this little cart for their service and would give every praise it deserves.

We came here at around 10:30 in the evening after theater and ordered 2 lamb roti rolls and one chicken biryani which we took home. We were served very quickly, The food remained warm after a 25 minute bus ride because it was so well and carefully wrapped. At home, this was more than enough food for 2 people. I loved the mildly spicy lamb kati rolls, so delicious and well made. The cart posts signs that it has received Wendy awards for its biryani, and I certainly know why. The biryani was great, soft, perfectly cooked chicken and excellent rice and salad. We may go back tomorrow, if not, certainly very soon. Thank you for such a reasonably priced, excellently prepared meal !

I had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic Indian meal at the Biryani Cart in New York recently. Their food stands out for its excellent quality, with a notable lack of excessive oiliness. Not only is their cuisine delicious, but it also comes at remarkably reasonable prices, making it a real gem in the city. It's worth noting that I've been a loyal patron of this establishment for quite some time. Ten years later, I'm delighted to find that the Biryani Cart maintains the same high standards that originally drew me in when I worked in Midtown. My personal favorite is their Kati rolls, an irresistible deal at 2 for $10. I prefer mine mild, and even so, they manage to infuse it with just the right amount of spiciness to tantalize the taste buds.

Big food cart fan. This ruined the experience. Came yesterday around 6pm for a Quick bite. Ended up throwing it out after 2 bites. Rice was cold. Such a small amount of food compared to other carts I go to. Guy was not able to communicate and therefore we didn’t get what we wanted based on what we were looking for.
